Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 23 May 2021, 04:53

Good morning.

I sound like a stuck record but it's hot and sunny. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly then back to shower etc and we're going to Cartama market. it sells loads of stuff and there are a couple of stalls that sell amazing frocks  . I've yet to go there and not buy something so I'm hoping for a repeat performance today.

I'll bung a chicken in the oven when we get home and whilst it's cooking we'll nip to Gambrinus for a couple of cold beers. :D

Just a case of throwing a salad together with potato salad and coleslaw when we get home. :D

Have a great day.

How are you post jab Saundra? xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Blowing a hooley still so feeling quite cold again. Lovely and warm when out of that wind, but nowhere near as warm as we are normally, at this time of year.

Enjoy mooching Ally x

Late start after a decent nights sleep, for a change. Maybe the brandy helped

I'm doing not a lot today, not venturing outside apart from taking the recycling down later. Grumpy is going to sand down the kitchen table and some of the chairs.

Had planned a bbq for later, but that wind makes it difficult, so will do something else.

Hope you're feeling okay this morning Saundra aa

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

God morning everybody.

The sun is out but there are some clouds about. Some more pootling again. Cleared more stuff out of the loft. Any body want a duvet?

There is a proper loft ladder and lights. I go up and down very carefully. I throw some things down and only carry small fragile stuff when I am coming down the ladder.
Methinks it is time for coffee.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all.
Saundra - no rain yet! That made me smile.
Grey here but not as cold as yesterday.
Chicken for dinner. A very lazy day today; hopefully there is something decent on the tv.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Our weather can't make up it's mind, one minute bright, the next rain

Sensible to have a nice easy day Saundra xx

Loved the Eurovision, it was brilliantly done last night, and the standard overall much higher than usual. Like Graham Norton we found it all a bit emotional seeing things back to some kind of normality. Felt so sorry for our chap, it wasn't the best song, but it definitely wasn't the worst either. Was surprised at the winner, but hey ho it is what it is.

Slept in very late this morning, just as well we didn't have any plans. Roast chicken for dinner later, strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all,we’re back home after our mini-break. We had a nice day yesterday, it actually didn’t rain and the sun came out, so we were able to have a lovely walk. We drove back in more rain today, which was not nice - on the plus side though, it meant far less traffic and no problem finding somewhere to park when we got home. We’re planning another Wicklow break around June 20th. Catching up on recorded stuff now before football and golf take over ;)

Hello everyone :)

Another blowy, grey day here, but the forecast is for it warming up considerably during the week, making 20° by Saturday! :D Fingers crossed ;) We've been out for a cuppa and a newspaper, and went round to put D's bin out for her. Lunch is cooking - new potatoes, lamb steaks and lots of veg :)

Ally, hope you had a good mooch at the market :) xxx

Glad you had a good sleep, Jan :) xxx

Saundra, I hope you feel better later, take it easy ((x))

We've just got rid of a couple of old duvets Cruiser xxx

Hope you find something to watch, Crommers :) xxx

Haven't watched Eurovision since Wogan's days, Jen, but there are certainly lots of posts about the voting on FB today xxx

Glad you had a good time, Osc :D xxx

Love to all xxx

Evening all, it’s pouring down here. It was dry until early afternoon though but grey and cool.

John’s been for his jab. Joe drove so that he didn’t have to wait afterwards and they dropped me in town so that I could get a few things from Home Bargains, I wasn’t in there for very long and by the time I was being served they’d driven the two miles to the vaccination centre, he’d had his jab and they’d driven back and were waiting on a nearby car park!

We’re now watching Home Alone 2. Things are getting desperate, TV-wise, it’s a great film but more suited to December

Hope you’re feeling better now Saundra x

Enjoy the rest of the day all x
