Good morning Al and all, it’s dull here at the moment.

There’ll be a walk for Bill once John gets up. Amanda stayed last night and she and Joe are off into Birmingham today as they’ve got tickets for the Van Gogh exhibition there. Shannon’s coming over later and judging by the food that appeared in the fridge last night it looks like they’re off out for a fancy picnic.

I’ve got to go to the garden centre for a rose bush for my Dad’s Father’s Day present.

Had a great afternoon yesterday at the outlet village with my friend Ali. It was so good to see her, we spent around 4 hours walking around there and decided we’re going to get together more often.

Enjoy the bbq and spending time with the boys, Al x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s quite dull here although the sun does seem to be making an effort. Plenty to keep me busy as we get ready to head off to Wicklow tomorrow for a few days. Have to prepare for different weather forecasts  Having my nails done this afternoon and I also need to defuzz my legs - that sort of guarantees bad weather  It’ll be very relaxed anyway, as it’s Miss Osc and SIL’s house. Right, better get moving, just in case the sun comes out and I *have* to spend time sitting out in it ;)

Good morning everybody.

Took some more things to one of the chariry shops and did some shopping.
Have had a letter from the local Hospice saying they need over £2000.0 per day just to keep services open. They have had no income from fund raising events or
the shops while lockdown has been on.
So have put a cheque in the post. I do make monthly contribution and buy raffle tickets.

Will be in the garden this afternoon trimming the edge of the lawn.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast today

Have a lovely break Osc, hope the weather behaves.

It absolutely heaved down with rain 40mins or so before we went out yesterday evening, our patio looked like a lake. The pub is only a short walk away, but we'd have been absolutely soaked trying to walk there, luckily it stopped in time, think there was more while we were inside, but it had dried up again for our walk back. It was so lovely to be there again, the landlady came over for a chat just as she always did, so nice. We plumped for the fishy Friday deal, it's great value at £10 a head, cod, chips and peas followed by any pud on the main menus plus tea, coffee or a soft drink. E had a pint with his so the whole thing cost just £24.50, can't beat that for a generous portioned 2 course meal for two. We were nicely stuffed when we got back home, I finished the evening off by treating myself to a Black Russian cocktail, definitely not what the doctor ordered, but a very nice treat

I've got some washing on the go, did a couple of loads yesterday, but left the dreaded bed change for today. No other plans, intend to have a lazy afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Thoughts for you, Saundra (((((x)))))

We wouldn't need an overnight for the Birmingham one, it's certainly worth thinking about  xc
