Good morning.

Scorchio.

A swim then planning to chill out all day. It's been full on so far this week and will be again from tomorrow so today is designated for reading by the pool.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and good morning all

Enjoy the lazy pool day Ally

Nothing scorchio about the weather here sadly - you'd think it is autumn and not summer. 13 degrees at the moment and not expecting any higher than about 19 if we're lucky and it's dull and grey. Not the best year for most of the veg I'm trying to grow - late start to the growing season and just not warm enough for decent growth :( Oh well, c'est la vie as the French would say

A very much usual usual for me today. Nothing exciting to report

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Sunny, but with a chilly breeze.

Off to Ourique for the weekly fun run. Also need to get some wire for the new lights and bulbs.

Swim this afternoon and bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, I’ve been meaning to check in daily and everytime I’ve picked up my iPad I’ve been interrupted!

It’s dull here, but the washing machine’s on so hopefully it’ll stay dry. I’ve also got Joe’s England shirt soaking in stain remover. He really should’ve bought the away top rather than the white home shirt, Joe and white tops are the bane of my life. There always seems to be one soaking in stain remover, he’s so messy. I should have shares in Vanish.

John’s on a site visit today, he’s gone to Luton (the Vauxhall factory I think?) so left not long after 6am.

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all. It’s dull here although the sun is making an occasional effort. I’ve been on the go since we got up, doing this and that, trying to get ahead of things as we are out for the day tomorrow - setting off early to go to the Irish Open golf in Co. Kilkenny. We’re really looking forward to a nice almost normal day out. I have washing on the line, optimistically hoping the seagulls drop their poo somewhere else  I’ve changed the bed too, and we are sorting out what to bring in our backpack tomorrow. Thankfully there is no rain forecast.

Cruiser, we’ll need photos when the kitchen is all done!

Afternoon all :D

Wet and miserable here

We had a lovely day yesterday, I couldn't stop smiling. Loved the film, lots of action, laughs and total nonsense, exactly right for our first visit in well over a year. Enjoyed the carvery too, obviously it's a bit difference, they've always served the meat and let you help yourself to the veggies. Now you point to what you want and they pop it on the plate, not a problem and it was very nice. Just being out and doing 'normal' things is extra special 8-)

Not a big adventure today, but we are planning to drive over to Westwood Cross later, think we'll need our raincoats. E's watch has completely stopped, silly whatsit put it away in it's box when he went into hospital last summer. He completely forgot it's solar powered. We've left it in sunlight for a few days as advised, but nothing, so looks like it needs to be sent away for a new solar battery. Apparently they have to be done by Seiko, don't think it will be cheap, but he'd like to get it fixed, it's the one I bought him for our 40th anniversary. We'll no doubt pop into M&S for a few bits while we're there, any excuse

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon! :D

It started out dull and slightly chilly here, but it's been a beautiful warm and sunny afternoon :) I walked into town this morning to meet my friend J for a cuppa, then up to D's. My brother-in-law P and his wife are up for the day, from Somerset, and I had lunch there with them. They had their dog Wilson with them, he's a beautiful Weimaraner (sp?) but a bit on the boisterous side  For home about half an hour ago, and have pegged out a white wash - it should be dry by dinner time.

Love to all :) xxx
