Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 23 Oct 2021, 06:22

Good morning.

Yippee....a much more pleasant 27 degrees instead of that 30+ nonsense.

The twins both stayed over last night and today it's their 29th birthday. :cute:

We had a super day and night with them yesterday, we're all going out for lunch today and then the boys are going into Malaga to meet 20!!! friends.
They've booked tables on the terrace of some fancy dancy bar.

I'll be happy stopping in tonight watching a bit of TV.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool start, nights are getting cold now, but the sun is out, so hopefully will warm up nicely :D

Happy Birthday to your boys Ally :Hi: ~

Bit of a lazy morning and then we're off to a friends for 2.00, for a late lunch bbq. Which will, no doubt, go on for quite a while

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Afternoon all, there was a bit of sun earlier but it is full cloud now and there is quite a bite in the wind. We went out earlier as Edward had a short dental appointment. Back home now, and I need to do the ironing - it was on the list for yesterday but I got a last minute call from Miss Osc asking if I could bring Kellie to gymnastics, wait and then bring her home. Thankfully I was able to do it. We had great fun at dancing last night, it feels good to be back doing what we love.

Hi everyone :)

Happy birthday to your boys Ally! :Hi: xx

Enjoy the bbq with your friends Jan :D xx

It must feel great to be back dancing Osc :) xx 8-)

It’s a chilly day here, but at least it’s dry. Been to SW with B, almost all of my lockdown weight gone now 8-) :cute: We had brekkie sat outside Corretto’s, now we’re at D’s :) About to pop to Sainsbury’s to buy a new winter duvet as we recycled our old one. I’m planning to make green tomato chutney this afternoon, Debbie’s recipe, which worked so well last time 8-) Fingers crossed

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday everyone:) xxx

Morning all :D

One minute sunny, the next dull :?

Happy Birthday to your boys Ally.
Enjoy the BBQ Jan.
Glad you had fun dancing Osc.

Well my 10.30 call from the GP yesterday with my ankle x-ray results didn't happen until 1.40, was beginning to think it wasn't happening. Not good news really, the bone in my foot appears to have collapsed so he's sending me for an MRI. It's what I wanted done back in 2018 as AVN doesn't show up in x-rays and is known to attack other joints. Back then I was just told it was arthritis and to take painkillers. He's now saying it could be AVN, we won't know for certain until I have the MRI, bit fed up tbh.

Being very lazy, didn't wake up until 10.45 this morning  Annoyed with Boots, they rang Friday last week to say I'd have a delivery Monday. Rang again on Monday to say the man had left without my meds so could they deliver on Wed. I said no as I wasn't sure what we'd be doing, and as they won't give an am or pm now, didn't want to be hanging around all day. It was agreed they would be delivered yesterday, it's wash day and Sainsbury's were coming so no problem having to stay in. Still no meds, so will have to drive in today. Quite apart from the waste of time and parking charge, we actually pay for delivery!! Soooo deep breathes and relax.......

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Happy birthday to Ally's lads.
I hope it isn't AVN Jen; as you say deep breaths.
it must be wonderful to get back dancing Osc.
We have been for a paper and I have cooked a bolognese. MrsC did most of the prep. bless her.
In a while we are going to deliver a bit of shopping for her uncle Jim.
Sister in law is back from Wales, she says she has had a lovely time.
No rain today but definitely a bit nippy.
I must be getting softer as I get older. I can remember as a young man a group of us waiting for the bus in December in our Fred Perry's with the snow falling!
Have a good day all.
