He's got his head stuck in a book Saundra

Jose Felipe is coming up sometime next week, to sort out the leak in the roof. Much better for him to do it than Grumpy.

Did you get the B12 injection sorted?

Afternoon all, we’re back to dull and drizzly after blue sky and sunshine yesterday afternoon. It’s still very mild though.

It’s a quite day here. John, Tom, Joe and Amanda all left to drive to see John’s family in Cardiff earlier, they’ll be back tomorrow evening so it’s just me and Bill. He wouldn’t like the journey and probably wouldn’t settle well either.

Kaz, I’m considering taking down at least one of the two trees while I can get away with it

Saundra, what a palaver with the nurse! Hope you can get to see Scarlett and her parents again soon x

Osc, you’ve reminded me that Joe told me he was expecting a Hermes parcel this week. Just checked with him to see if it’s coming today and it’s been stuck in their local depot for the last two days so he’s not happy.

Have a good day all :D

It is so dull here that some of the street lights have come on.

It's not even 3 o'clock!

We popped down to the bar, no post  but then had a lovely chat with Jose, the bar bloke, about Portuguese language and he even gave us a beer :? Almost unheard of

Then Chris and Lucy turned up, as did Steve, so lots of beer flowing 8-)

Too much for me, but we'll hopefully see them again on NYD, as the bar might be open. Might not, up to Odette.

Fire lit, Grumpy has chilli and jacket potatoes (too many chips is bad for him  ) I'm having pasta, with a cheese, onion and presunto sauce. Love it, always make too much, but still manage to eat it

That’s good Saundra, maybe they’ll visit again soon xx

I’m not a fan of New Year either, some idiot was letting off fireworks at 4.30pm here. Can tell they’ve gone on sale in the shops again

My dinner was out of stock on the Tesco delivery today and apparently there weren’t any suitable substations. I’d fancied a Holland’s meat and potato pie, and as back up in case it was out of stock I’d ordered a jar of pesto to have with some home made pasta I’ve got in the freezer. Got neither.
