Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 15 Feb 2022, 06:47

Good morning.

Stunning sunrise and a balmy 23C forecast for today. 8-)

I'm away for my walk shortly.

Back to shower etc then walking into town to meet my friend Ana at 10.30 for breakfast. :D

This afternoon we're going tile shopping. Cue bored looks from me  but they're for an area round the pool shower and I'll only moan if Don buys some I don't like.

GB Menu tonight.

Have a great day.

Kaz...Conor bought me trashy magazines  puzzle books and lots of chocolate back from the UK. :cute:

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Stunning sunrise here too 8-) Sunny morning, cold at the moment, no idea what we'll get up to, temperature wise, cooler recently, so probably a chilly 18C

Porridge for breakfast, not had that for years, but we're trying to be healthy. One day out of seven won't make too much difference though ;)

Grumpy all excited about having the bonfire   We'll roll out the nearest hose pipe and fill a couple of watering cans, but really, there's nothing to burn in the field, just being cautious.

I have ironing

Enjoy the tile hunting Ally :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning both.
All the best with the tile shopping Ally. A chilly 18c Jan?
Grey, grey and grey here. And damp, so no change there.
MrsC has done a pile of ironing for our daughter (MrsC quite lies ironing  ) which we will take up shortly.
Then we pick up Eliza from nursery, give her her dinner and then we'll go to Aldi and B&M (the child likes shopping) and pick up our prescriptions and a paper.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s greyish and damp here but thankfully no rain. Edward’s golf was cancelled and he is pottering about doing maintenance kind of stuff. I had hoped to bring the car to the garage to investigate the clanking noise, but when I phoned earlier, they said that they were chockablock today :? Thankfully, I know another mechanic so phoned him and he said to bring it to him around 2pm. We’ve done the supermarket order for delivery tomorrow, and I’ve had a nice chat on the phone with a family member in England who was updating me about another family member who has had a mild stroke. Apparently, she had another even milder one earlier in the year, and although she had tests, she never got the results even though she kept chasing them. Thankfully the current consultant dug deep until he found them, but it is so frustrating to think that if she had been on medication, this one might have been avoided :( I’m hearing too many of these stories now and it is not just Covid, it is people not doing their jobs properly

Good morning everybody,

It was raining when I got up but the sun is now trying to come out.
Have got contractors digging up the road at the top of the crescnet. They started using a pneumatic drill at 9.00 a.m this morning and they
are still at it. It is something to do with the gas main. THere is also work being done inside a huse near the start of thye crescent.
Have decieded to replace the light bulbls with LED ones. Even in the daylight you can see the diifference. Should also help to keep the energy
costs down.

Will just be pootling this afternoon
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast. think it's trying to rain.

Good luck with the tile shopping Ally.

Gosh Crommers, take her temperature immediately, that sounds like a nasty infection :o

Osc you're right, too many people having to chase results, not good at all.
Hope the pneumatic drill doesn't go on all day Cruiser.

My hospital appointment isn't until 8pm this evening, I've been fitted in at the end of the clinic. We'll have a late lunch/early dinner later this afternoon, last time we didn't get home before 9.30pm, much too late to start cooking then.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Jen, yes it's a bad case!
Osc, Covid is being used as a catch all excuse for bad service imo.

He's a good lad ;) :D :D xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's been a very wet day here, but I still ventured out, to get some steps in. Walked to town, then up to D's to have soup with her for lunch. Walked home, and have been back for about 40 minutes. Put some washing on, Becky had already cleaned the bathroom - wonder of wonders, but got to keep her busy while she's home :P  Harry and Mick are out doing some driving practice.

Good luck later Jen xx

Love to all xxx
