Good morning.

Sunny and 22C forecast. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly. :D

Going to have a marathon orange and lemon squeezing session  and will divvy them up and freeze the portions. :D

Plan to lie on a lounger and read. :D

DOI final tonight and the last ever Peaky Blinders.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Woke up to the wind being rather blowy, so stayed in bed for a bit longer  Lovely and sunny, ut cold in that wind.

Might get the washing done this morning, change the bedding, might struggle to get and then keep the washing on the line  I either have to get Grumpy to reach the line or get the step ladder up. Or jump

Fry up for breakfast and then might get outside, see how that wind feels.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s not as sunny and warm as it has been.

John’s just taken Bill for a walk, Tom’s at Shannon’s as they were at the wedding of someone Tom works with in Derby yesterday. Joe’s still in bed, not sure of his plans for today. He and Amanda had dinner here last night when they got back from Cornwall and I cut Amanda’s hair afterwards, it was so lovely to see her.

Meat loaf and veg for dinner and I might go to the garden centre to buy a tree afterwards, I want a column flowering cherry for the back garden. They had two last week and I couldn’t decide if I wanted one or not, you can bet that now I’ve decided they’ll both have been sold

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s another lovely sunny day here. Feeling ever better and my sense of smell has come back a little bit. Edward is busy icing the cake he made yesterday which we will bring to Miss Osc’s garden later to socially distantly celebrate Mother’s Day and SIL’s birthday yesterday. I have lots of my winter clothes out on the clothesline, and yesterday I got some lighter ones down from the attic. It’s the brighter colours I love, it’s so hard to get winter clothes that aren’t dark colours. Tonight is the Dancing with the Stars Ireland final, it’s been brilliant this season, we’ll miss it :(

Good afternoon everyone :)

We have D coming round for lunch shortly, Becky and Mick are cooking a chicken and the works although I made it easy by getting one of those cook in the bag chickens

It’s sunny, sort of, and a bit cooler. Looking forward to the final of DOI later 8-)

Love and hugs to all xxxx

Morning all :D

It was wet when we woke up, drying now, but still overcast.

We've had a good lie in, making sure we catch up on the lost hour, not that we need a reason  M's pressie number one arrived yesterday afternoon, a very pretty crystal lotus flower, wonder what will arrive today. No plans, rotisserie chicken with veg for dinner around 6ish, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. Oh and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate Mother's Day 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Not Mothers Day here, so I'll be cooking, as usual

We do have a bottle of something fizzy (apart from beer  ) in the fridge that we keep saying we'll have when we have something to celebrate. But always forget

Why did I think it was the final Peaky Blinders?

I'm in tatters after tonight's episode so goodness knows what I'll be like for the real (extended) final next week!
