Thanks for the support.

Ferry booked today. £95 one way Irish ferries. It's after 4am next saturday.

Because I work with Canada and work till close to Midnight I'm struggling to clean the apartment, pack, leave and get to the port in time to catch my ferry. DFDS was £80 but at 02:20. I'd have to take half the day off and that doesn't calculate out.

The Dieppe ferry was half the day time price for the 11pm (saturday), but no cabins available. Last thing I need is a 4 hour night crossing without sleep and a 6 hour drive after. Especially paying extra after losing my crossing. If I'm too tired after crossing the channel, I'll check into a hotel and carry on Sunday morning. But with all Saturday to make the journey I should be able to make it OK. It doesn't work if I arrive 05:30 on Sunday and then spend all day getting home.

As soon as I get home I'll book the next ferry over.

I was looking over my new passport today. It makes the old one look like a typewriter next to a modern day computer for technology and security.
