Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 20 Sep 2022, 02:38

Morning everyone

Woken by a mozz

Warm, but dark and thunderstorms and rain forecast for the whole country :Hi:

Just didn't expect to be up quite so early, but Molly obviously brought in a mozz as she came in a few minutes ago.

We'll be heading down to the Algarve a little earlier than planned to try and miss the rain. Will hit Gran Palza in Tavira and also the very very big Chinese shop near there, as they do the better sun lounger cushions.

Already checked into our residençia, then meeting friends for a couple of drinks, before we head off for an Indian meal. Lovely :D

Back tomorrow.

Be good everyone xx

Managed to get back to sleep :D and the sun is now out.

We'd normally go to another bedroom, when there's a mozz around, but Mrs Organised Knickers has put clean bedding on the other two

Breakfast, coffee and we're off 8-)

Jan, have a wonderful time :Hi: :Hi:

Morning all :)

Not sure of our plans yet, although we'll see D at some point. It's a bit grey - I put the washing machine on last night, but I'm not sure whether to tumble it or peg it out and let it take its chances :? Probably the latter. B has made a friend at work who drives right past the top of our estate, so she's going to get a lift and they'll share petrol money - win/win for them both :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s not a bad morning here and Edward wore shorts going to play golf. I’ve got stuff to do around the house, then I’ll collect him when golf is finished so we can go and continue the process of changing mobile phone providers as Vodafone has unlocked our SIM cards. I also want to make appointments for a pedicure and manicure on Friday as we are going away for the weekend, with a ball on Saturday night. The suit carrier and a small case need to come down from the attic and I’ll also put away some of the summer clothes.

Saundra, I loved the photos from yesterday’s scattering of Bill’s ashes. You were right to wait until you felt the time was right, and there are no rules on how it is done, so what you all did looks just perfect.

After the last two days indoors we need a bit of fresh air, the forecast is good so we'll be off out for our usual walk in the next hour or so.

Good afternoonn everybody.

We had rain duringthe night and it was dull this morning. But there is lots of blue sky now.
Went for my fourth vaccinatiojthis morning. Not had any problems. I was early for my appointment but they took me in. I did not have to sit down
after I had the injection. Went for a drink-Tea-and then did some shopping.
Have done some ironing this afternoon. Still some shirts to do.
Going for afternoon tea at the Midland Hotel in Morecombe tomorow. It is with the Pensioners club at the firm I used to work for.
Osc, I am thinking of changing mobile phone providers as my contract finishes at the end of November. Will get Club Card points if I go with Tesco.
They use EE which gets good reviews and has cheep contracts as I do not need a lot of gimmicks.
Have a goood day everybody.
