Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 21 Sep 2022, 05:52

Good morning.

Sunny and 29°. 8-)

Twice I came on here yesterday to post and twice I got sidetracked so didn't.

Off for a walk shortly which will end up at the hairdresser for 10am and a haircut. How quickly these 4 weeks come round!

A swim when I get back home then quite happily laze by the pool. I've just started a great book. :D

The second part of Crossfire tonight. Last night's opening episode had us gripped. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally and all, the sun’s trying to shine here and we’re forecast 19° today.

Tom came over last night and plans were being made, I’ll update on the family board when I get a minute.
We were just finishing off at 10pm when my Dad phoned John and asked if he could go and move my mother, she’d slipped down in the chair and he couldn’t move her at all. They bought an orthopedic chair for her seeing as she doesn’t move around now and can’t sleep in the bed, she was sleeping in the armchair every night and fell out several times. She’s only had this chair for a month or so and at first it seemed like the answer but this is the second time that she’s slipped down in it in 10 days now, Dad’s not got the strength to move her, there’s nothing to her but Dad’s 89 and not in the best of health either. The first time it happened was when I had Covid so Dad phoned my sister instead of us and Roger had to drive for 45 minutes to help. It’s all so worrying.

Anyway, housework calls.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s overcast but bright here. A fairly busy day ahead - our foam mattress needs to be rotated so we’ll do that and I’ll change the bedding. Then I’m going to the gym at 11.30 but I want to pop up to the post office to take out some money before that. Then I have a hairdresser appointment at 1.30, a chance to sit and read. When I get home I’ll do the ironing.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast right now.

Enjoy your walk Ally.
Oh dear Jo, what a worry for you all, hope something can be sorted for your mum x
A busy day for you Osc.

We had a lovely walk yesterday, my light hoodie wasn't needed, it was really warm. E's got to hang around waiting for a phone call tomorrow so we're doing the M&S run today. What with that and a bank holiday, my week is all over the place, have to check the paper to see what day it is

Hope you all have a good day xx

Thank all x

Kaz, there’s a Coffee#1 in Stafford, Bill drags us there as soon as we’re out of the car
I was so happy to see that they had their hot apple and cinnamon drink back on the menu on Sunday, they had a reduced menu when we were in the week before and it wasn’t available. I was worried it had gone forever
