Afternoon all, we’re back home! Got home around 1pm. We had a very good time, the wedding yesterday was lovely. The venue is owned by one of Ireland’s top chef, so the food was excellent. There was a great band - two of them did an acoustic set in the afternoon which we thoroughly enjoyed, and then the full band played for dancing in the evening, so of course we were up on the floor quite a bit. The venue is beautiful, an old house well restored and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Edward’s jacket was a big hit, even one of the waitresses said she loved it, he was the only man in something a bit different.There were some gorgeous glittery dresses on the young women.

Unfortunately the weather was atrocious, but once we got to the venue from the church, everything was lovely and cosy. Even though we didn’t have a late night, we’re still tired today. Looking forward to Strictly later.

Our night on Thursday was lovely too, very nice and relaxing, very glad we decided to do it.
