Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

A walk, a swim and then a read on the sun lounger.

We're out tonight with a couple of friends to the Indian restaurant. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny and although not that warm at the moment, I think we've turned the corner from spring to summer.

Much better nights sleep, woke up at 5.00, which seems to be my summer default button

Only just got up though and the washing machine is working away.

Must finish off the cleaning I started yesterday. Got my head stuck in a book and a whoosh - the day was gone

Doing the prep for dinner, before we head off to the bar. Meeting a different lot of friends this afternoon, although the normal crew will be there.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
It was 19C when I got up with a lovely blue sky. Going shopping and then in the garden. Want to finish trimming the edge of the lawn.

The grass is growing and it will soon need another cut.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s dull here and the air feels damp. We were up and at it early as we wanted to brush down and clean the front of the house, plus clean the windows, this needed to be done before there were too many people passing up and down. There is massive work going on nearby on what was a sand quarry back in the day, but now there is a big development going in there so they are excavating tons and tons of sand - as a result the front of the house is covered in it, as is the car even though it is further away. The house looks much better now and then I went to the car to wash off the sand and seagull poo, just a simple wash, it probably needs to be put through a car wash.

Shower shortly and I’ll be changing the bed. The sheets are already washed but no point putting them on the line, I’ll hang them in the utility room. I am having an MRI on my knee this afternoon, I’ve been waiting a good while for this, fingers crossed it will show what is happening. Mind you, it will probably be the usual “age related wear and tear”

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Ally enjoy the Indian restaurant, we haven't been to one for ages, not sure why it's one of our favourites.
Jan glad you had a better night.
Cruiser, grass cutting not needed here, ours is artificial
Saundra a garden makeover sounds a nice thing to do.
Osc good luck with the MRI.

A definite drop in the temperature this morning, but it's supposed to brighten up this afternoon. No plans for today, just general pottering, bound to find something thst needs doing.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s quite warm but dull although the sun tries to break through every so often.

Me, John and Joe have walked Bill on Hednesford Hills this morning, that was after John had been for an 8 mile run with Andrew over the road. They’re in training for the Black Country half marathon next month. Not sure John would’ve gone for it but Joe bought his entry as his birthday present so he’s got to do it

Off to the station shortly to pick up tickets to and from Brighton for me and Joe for tomorrow and our tickets to get to Wembley next weekend. I prefer paper ones in case phones lose charge.

Once back we’ll do some more sorting out in the garage in readiness for John doing a tip trip or two tomorrow morning.

My Dad’s been going on about a life insurance policy of my Mom’s that he’s found and wanted to cash in, he said my sister didn’t know how to go about it in so would I have a look so he gave it to me last night. My Nan took it out in 1941 when my Mom was 5 and it’s only worth £15

Saundra, it’s a shame you can’t get a move. Keep us updated on the garden!

Afternoon everyone :)

Have a great meal out, Ally :) xx

Glad you slept better Jan :) xx

That's a shame Saundra, but a garden makeover sounds good 8-) xx

The grass is certainly growing fast at the moment, Cruiser xx

Good luck for your MRI, Osc xx

Enjoy pottering Jen xx

Oh Jo, poor old John :P ;) xx

It's been a beautiful day here, despite the storm warnings on the weather app :? Went to Corretto's for breakfast, then round to see D. We FaceTime'd with B before going out, all's well with her and the adorable Buster :D Can't remember if I mentioned Harry's new job, in the local multiplex? Anyway bristling in well, and enjoying it so far :)

Love to all xxx
