I haven’t collected anything from the delivery office for a couple of years but they’d always ask for ID although a debit or credit card was suffice.

Our posties are good, if no one is in then they leave any parcels that don’t need a signature in our safe place.

I’ve never been asked for ID in M&S, and I collect from either the main store in Stafford or the Simply Food store near here. In fact I’ve collected one from the food store today and just scanned the code on the terminal (it’s newly installed so the first time I’ve not had to actually ask at the customer service desk for it), the order was brought out and I just had to give my postcode as normal.

Jo, you’re right - think I’m losing the plot - it was H&M that insisted on ID   I just checked my texts

I bought one of these knowing that I would be away a lot and the RM could also deliver mail to me.

I had a parcel I was tracking, they told me it would arrive mid July. Checked the box on Wednesday and the parcel had arrived when I was away for the weekend.

Cruiser - how did you get to the post office? Do you not carry your drivers licence with you all the time anyway?
