Glad it all went well Kaz. I'm with Saundra, I don't agree with the speed they get people out of hospital these days either.

My morning went well, apart from the very early start, up at 6am but awake from 4.30. I was so glad that I wasn’t driving as I haven’t been to the hospital before and traffic was terrible in worsening weather. Of course the taxi driver knew how to avoid some of the traffic. I arrived just after 8am, checked in and off to the day ward, where I was checked in again. The procedure itself took seconds! I had to wait a while for a taxi home but got here around 11.15. After a cuppa, I had a snooze. The numbness in the knee is wearing off now, I plan on taking things easy for the rest of the day and might milk it through tomorrow ;)

Kaz, I’m glad Chris is ok - I agree that people are let home too quickly now, not an option for me as I don’t do well with anaesthetics. At least you are there to take care of him.

Thanks everyone :) It was done via sedation and local anaesthetic, by 5pm he was up and happily walking around the ward, waiting for discharge :) Home now xxx
