Morning Ally, morning everyone

We have sun and a lot of cloud. Rain forecast for this afternoon. Not that we got any yesterday Bit cooler too.

Grumpy had a quiet and uneventful night, hope Saundra had the same and Osc's brother xx He's still asleep. so I'll leave him.

I'm off down to the Algarve this morning, to take some stuff to the charity shop and pick up - hopefully - a lot of books

I'll leave him instructions on who/how to contact, should it happen again.

Meeting him for later, once we're back.

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

It was 14C when I got up but there wasa cooling breeze when I went for the paper. There is bright sunshine witha clear blue sky.
Will be doing some more gardening today.

I had just started to type this post when the van delivering my new fridge and freezer arrived. So they are now installed. The fridge is in the kitchenand the
feezer is i the garage.

Morning all, another nice sunny one, still cool but we can live with that. We are heading to do some shopping this morning and I have a bag of clothes for the TK Maxx charity box. My brother is going home on Thursday! All tests were clear although he will be referred to a kidney specialist. The verdict seems to be that it was all caused by medication having an adverse effect on his kidneys. He phoned me yesterday, still sounds weak and tired, understandable as he has been put through the mill. He really does need to tackle the guidance given to manage his diabetes, but he has been resistant to that so far, and it does seem to have been diabetes medication which made him so ill. We shall see.

Love to Saundra and I hope she is feeling a bit better today. Much love also to Kaz and family.

Cruiser, nice to have new appliances, and great that they came so early so you have the rest of the day to yourself and pootle in the garden
Osc, it's quite astounding how many diabetic patients are "non compliant"; Nadine often comes home after a day working at the GP Practice complaining about that. Hopefully your brother now realises what he needs to do - and he needs to ask for a proper medication review with his diabetic nurse specialist. There are so many other options available these days.

Weatherwise here, it's the same as where Osc is - sunny but with a cold wind. Another usual / usual for me - computer time in the morning and gardening afterwards.

Our meal at the shack, and it really is a shack lol was absolutely yummy. It really lives up to all the hype. I had the catch of the day, marlin, and Ed went for the flying fish. We'll definitely be going again.
