Morning all, another sunny one although there are a few clouds floating about. Edward got up at 7.40 this morning on the basis that he was awake, so might as well get up. He’s gone to play golf, wearing shorts for the first time this year. We had a very pleasant meal out yesterday evening in an early celebration of my sister’s birthday - I had asked that candles be put on her dessert and it seemed a long time coming as we already had ours. It turned out that they had run out of candles and someone had to run to the local shop

Then it was home to watch the second Eurovision qualifier and also golf. Ireland didn’t get through to the final, in fairness although it was a catchy song, it was totally over produced and the singer’s voice was rather weak, so not qualifying wasn’t too surprising. I’m sorry, folks, but I think the UK song is dreadful. Normally, I’d be looking forward to tomorrow night’s final, but there is no song that I really want to win.
So, mobility class for me this morning, before I go I’ll pop to the chemist to collect the prescription renewal I left in yesterday. Then back home to do not very much. We won’t go dancing tonight as not only is the PGA golf on, but ManU are playing too, so it’s no contest

At some stage today, I want to ring a friend who is having knee surgery on Monday, also I need to make an appointment for a dental check up, I’ll make it for when we get back from our holiday.
