Too Good To Go

Postby JoM » 06 Jun 2025, 22:10

What a treat we had tonight, Joe and Jade came in with a Starbucks carrier bag, they’d been to collect a Too Good To Go bag from there and it was full of cake!
They’d paid £2.99 for the bag, not knowing exactly what would be in it but it contained a lovely selection of six cakes, all of which would’ve been on sale for between £3.50 and £4 each and would’ve been thrown away otherwise.

Jade said that she and her Mom had a bag from Aldi a couple of weeks ago and it was full of salad so wasn’t so good but had another from Greggs which was much better

Anyone else tried Too Good To Go?

We don't run to a Starbucks or a Greggs down here, but sounds a good bargain! :D

It’s all on a app Cruiser, you put in your local area and it shows what’s available. I’ve just looked and a local Toby Carvery is selling a breakfast bag, to be collected at around 11am, for £2.49.

Ossie, we’ve gone from having no Starbucks to three in the space of four years. Even the pub by my Dad’s house has been converted into one now.
