Morning all, it’s a gorgeous one here although it was completely foggy when I went to the loo at 6.30am. The temperature is already 19 degrees, it’s going to go higher. I had a bad start to the day when I dropped my porridge when taking it out of the microwave - the bowl landed on its base and as it was quite liquid, it splattered everywhere and I mean
everywhere, floor, walls, fridge door, radiator

Being porridge, it looked like vomit. So surely the day can only get better

Mobility class this morning and back to do very little except perhaps spend some time sitting in the sun, also there will be tennis to watch. We are not going dancing tonight, don’t fancy spending 40 minutes in a hot car to get there (if we are lucky, the M50 on a Friday is not always fun) then dancing for two hours in a very warm hall.
My sister and I had a great time at the Concert for Gaza last night, the quite small venue was packed and there was a lovely atmosphere. All the performers were great, I knew who they were but had only seen one before. We had short addresses by representatives of two organisations working on the ground in Gaza, and also a few words from the actor Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) and the evening’s mc was another actor, Conor Mullen, he was in Soldier Soldier way back and you will have seen him in various Irish dramas over the years - he lives a few doors down from here. It was very relaxed and fun. The raffle alone raised almost €3,000, no figure yet for the total amount raised for Médecins sans Frontières.
