Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 13 Jul 2025, 05:38

Good morning.

Another hot and sunny day in Nottingham. 8-)

I'm going for a walk which will include going round one of the many lovely parks here. :D

I must book my train ticket for Tuesday. :cute:

Tonight we're getting a Chinese takeaway and binge watching Until I Kill You. :P

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Was lovely and sunny, with a blue sky earlier, ow we're back to grey and cloud

Jut chased a couple of storks off the roof - not literally  - they make such a racket

Lazy morning, then heading into Castro, to a b&q type place. Grumpy needs a new drill and I would like some more large planters. We've neglected the pool area since we moved in, so are now going to make it look nice. Pergola to be built, lights, wall art and plants :D

Lunch at The Palma on the way back :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning everyone; happy Sunday

Ally, enjoy your day and the time with Craig
Cruiser, same weather here - lovely!
Jan, your plans for the pool area sound amazing! Looking forward to some photo's when it's done.

I've had a busy few days . I had Friday off, originally the plan was just for some regular gardening, but given the weather I figured perfect opportunity to pressure wash the patio - that made for some nice cooling off :-) . Yesterday Nadine and I headed into London to an 80's Drag Queen thing; such fun. Today is a home day with more gardening planned.

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning all, another glorious one, temperature already up to 20 degrees. I got up just after 7.30 to wash the car while it was cool out and the car was still in shade. We are planning another walk, we will get the bus over the hill and walk back. It is one of my favourite walks. Then the men’s final this afternoon. General tidy around before we go out.

Good morning. It looks like another lovely day.
Just us and sister in law for Sunday dinner.
I must get an extension hose ordered for the Karcher (pressure washer).
Apparently blue badge holders are exempt from the hosepipe ban up here.
This makes no sense to me but it does mean I can finish doing the path at the side of the house. :)
We'll see if any of the neighbours grass me up to the water police.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, not much happening here today apart from sitting near a fan.

Tom’s coming over for lunch shortly, he’s had an early start as he had to drop Joe and Jade at East Midlands airport for 7am for their flight to Portugal, they’re due to land in Faro in about 30 mins. Tom went straight to Lichfield from the airport and has been hanging around there since, there’s a lovely independent coffee shop which opens early so he headed there. He did say that he’s going to call in and see his Grandad before coming here.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

I'll be glued to the box this afternoon watching the final at Wimbledon. I'm expecting it to be hard fought over 5 sets. Whoever wins will deserve it, but I'll be routing for Alcaraz.

Roast chicken with salad for dinner, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening everyone :)

Not long got home from our weekend away - all very enjoyable but it's tiring travelling in the heat, so it's a cool shower and an early night for me, I reckon :)

Love to all xx
