Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already and another really hot day. Although it's lovely and cool out there at the moment :D

Grumpy is coming in with me this morning, as he needs primer and I'd probably get the wrong one. So popping into Nelson (builders merchant, rather than water Nelson ;) ) on our way to the supermarkets.

And just hope the car behaves itself

Back for breakfast and not a lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

It is 19C with a few clouds but there is some blue sky.

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Ally it's always good to catch up with friends.
Jan fingers crossed the car behaves today.
Cruiser those pesky weeds seem to be able to grow anywhere.
Saundra have a lovely time with Scarlett and enjoy the yummy cake xx

We're off to the cinema to see Superman this afternoon. It's a new actor playing the role so not sure what to expect, the reviews have been mixed. Superman was the first 'super hero' I ever saw, way back in the Saturday morning pictures days. It's also the days of Shirley Temple and Laurel & Hardy, great favourites of mine. I've never lost the joy of seeing things on the big screen. Really showing my 79yrs

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally it was so good to see you yesterday :D xx

Hope you got what you needed Jan :) xx

It baffles me too Cruiser :? xx

Saundra I have read a few of her books, set in Cornwall - good reads :) xx

Hope you enjoy the film Jen :) xx

It's a nice day here, but warm rather than hot. Met my friend Jenny in town for a cuppa, picked up a couple of salad bits in the M&S foodhall, then came home.

We've been doing housework stuff since then - our new window cleaner seems to have disappeared so we've done.the conservatory, and the rest of downstairs. Want the place slick and span for the weekend, as we're entertaining our nephew Chris and his wife Sarah, who are over here from Qatar visiting family before they emigrate to Canada in October. Although Sarah is Lebanese ethnically, she is a Canadian citizen as her family now live there. Chris has applied for citizenship and it's all going through. They are staying with D until Sunday, and I'm cooking a meal for us all on Saturday :D

Love to all xx
