Morning Ally

What fun zooming around on the back of the bike :D . Enjoy the day with the family and then the catch up with Don this evening.

Usual work day for me today and nothing planned for this evening; I love Friday nights at home.

Have a lovely day all whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning!

Still quite dark here, the streetlights are are still on so I'll wait until it's a bit lighter before walking Bill. I'll be tripping over tree roots in the dark woods otherwise. John's cycled into work, last time he'll do that this year now as the clocks will have changed by the time we come back from holiday and it'll be too dark. Although he has excellent lights and cycles safely, he doesn't feel safe on the roads in the dark. Not that he feels particular safe in daylight either.

I've just got the woodwork in Joe's bathroom to paint today and then the flooring can be fitted tomorrow and that's it done.

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

A glorious autumnal morning here 8-) 8-) and hoping for about 25C later :Hi: :Hi:

Grumpy has decided to start on the back terrace, so will be carrying on with the staining - although he can only do so many panels, then has to stop. Working overhead all the time plays havoc on neck and back muscles

Good luck with the rest of your decorating Jo x

I'll be sorting things out, clothes wise. Putting away the proper summer stuff and finding the winter stuff - which means lots of walks down ot the battery house, as that's where most of them are

Alan is coming round later, to fix the metal plate into the chimney, to stop the wind howling up and down, so that'll make us nice and snug for winter :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing - including those whizzing round on motorbikes ;)

Morning all :)

Ally have a good time on the bike :D

Ria, TGIF eh? :D Have a great Friday night :)

The mornings seem much darker since we got home Jo, in only a week away!

Ton, I'm doing that with my clothes too, it seemed the best time to do it while I'm putting away the holiday clothes :) Can't see me needing my linen trousers and shorts for the next six months :P

Seeing my client L this morning; Wednesdays are usually her days but she didn't want to wait another week as that would have meant missing three appointments. That's at 11.30, then Mick is picking me up afterwards and we might want to make the most of his last weekday off work and go and have lunch somewhere :) Pilates was an effort last night and I ache a bit this morning, just goes to show how quickly you miss regular exercise   Back to zumba next Tuesday, and just as well really!

Becky starts her new job this morning, she's really looking forward to it after the appointment she sat in on Wednesday. She will have to learn how to measure the customers, fit the dresses, soothe frazzled Mothers of the Bride ( :P ) and maybe learn to do minor alterations :D This is just to tide her over until she passes her driving test and gets her dream animal job, it but sounds like a lot of fun and really interesting. Decent money and regular hours too! 8-) :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning.

I am also involved in putting away holiday clothes as we only got back from Fuerteventura early yesterday. It was 27º there so am feeling the cold now. So many leaves fallen in the back garden too which we must keep on top of, but still many more to come down. I hope you all have a good day.

Morning all :D

Well all the tiling, grouting etc is done. Just waiting for Peter painter to arrive this afternoon to do more decorating and Terry, who's been an absolute nightmare, is back this evening to finish off the things he's not done. Steve's here doing all the his finishing touches. Just the boiler to go now, will post about that separately.

Hope you all have a nice day :D
