Too early to say what the weather will be like today, at least it's dry. Got woken up at five past seven this morning, apparently the extra five minutes was giving us a special lie in

Keeping fingers crossed it stays nice as we're planning to walk along the seafront down to the harbour with the boys and of course the promised trip to Sorbetto. Always a good idea to keep them very busy, the idea is to wear them out, needless to say it's always us on our knees by the end of the day

Sunshine and clouds this morning, so the washing is out Sadly, there are also a lots of weeds that have appeared since we had the rain

Off to Ourique later, we need to pay the insurances - although we may actually change companies - then to see Nelson about wintering the pool, see if Pingo is open yet. If not, it's back to the smaller supermarket and see what they have.

Whenever I looked after Thomas and Amelia when they were younger, it was me that was knackered at the end of the day and they were still full of beans. Thankfully though I could hand them back to the parents in the evenings; you don't have that option

Morning Ton - that's the trouble with weeds, the buggers keep coming back

I'm looking forward to Bake Off too Ria, although as I have zumba it will have to be on the iplayer! No chance of not seeing the result before we watch, but I don't mind that too much, I've never minded spoilers

I'm recording it on Filmon Kaz as it starts at 9pm Spanish time and I get in from work at 9.15.

I shall hide myself away from all social media sites until 10pm and then sit and watch it.

My local radio station now always announces spoiler alerts and pauses a few seconds to give you time to switch off the radio or put your fingers in your ears

I usually don't mind spoilers either, but sometimes it's nice to be surprised
