After a coffee I'm going for a walk - it's a national holiday so it's really quiet out there at the moment.

Think I'll just chill out today - it's the first day since September 16th we don't have any visitors over.

Morning all

Bright and sunny again here. It was absolutely scorching yesterday, I took my coat for our walk along the seafront and had to take it off, ended up in just my trousers and a cotton top. Really unexpected the day before the start of November

The driveway chaps turned up on the dot again this morning so more digging out the front today.

I'm off out for afternoon tea with a group of ladies at 2.30 http://www.yarrowhotel.co.uk/ some of them have been for evening meals and say it's really nice. It's attached to East Kent college and is part of the training. Whatever the food's like it should be a fun afternoon.

Well it's very gloomy looking this morning, and I am so tempted not to go to zumba but I will, as I know I'll enjoy it when I get there Half a pound off at WW this week, this last bit is like pulling teeth I'll walk up to have lunch with D afterwards

The 2 week cold has struck (two weeks into a new job get whatever cold is going). I tried to ignore it but it's just getting worse so I'm taking the day off to stay in bed and try to burn it out.

Morning all. Well, my mission to post more often failed dismally last week so I'll try again.

Its grey and miserable here today and quite chilly.

Its my long day at work so I don't finish until 5.45pm. I hate my two long days. I don't mind Mondays and Thursdays when I finish at 4pm and I don't even mind working every other Saturday (9 to 4) as on a Saturday I'm usually out and about showing people around houses but I hate, hate, hate finishing at 5.45pm. I have an interview on Thursday for an admin job in the housing department at one of the local councils. Its job share so only 2.5 days a week and the money will be a lot less (probably half of what I'm on now, but then again, it will be half the hours) but I don't care - I want to get my work life balance back. And getting in with the council would be good. So fingers crossed.

No plans for later - finish at 5.45pm, home for 6pm, back out again for 7.15 to pick L up from my mums and then home to have a soak in the bath and dinner. Mick is hopefully home tonight (he was in Luton last night).
