Postby cruiser2 » 08 Nov 2016, 00:16

Good morning,
It is still only Monday as we are still in the Atlantic. Will be arriving at St Maarteen tomorrow morning at 7.00 a.m.
Had a very smooth crossing and managed to get in some sunbathing,
Have a good day everybody

It's an early good morning from me too. Off to the airport shortly with Tom for a few hours in Dublin. I believe that the weather there is forecast to be atrocious today so perhaps we'll sit in coffee shops and people watch :)

Have a good one all!

Morning all :)

Safe travels Cruiser :)

You too Jo, have a fab time in Dublin - hope the weather is better than forecast! xxxx

Morning Ally, have a good pootle :)

I have an outpatient appointment at GRH at 9.30, so need to be out of the house by 8.45. It's a dermatology appointment that I've been waiting for, for ages. I do feel lucky though, to be walking distance from an efficient hospital, after reading Saundra's thread :? That means no zumba today, but I will still see D after my appointment :) It's frosty and very cold here today, real wrapping up warm weather!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.

It's dry here, but very cold. We are going into town shortly, so hats and scarves
are on the menu.

Hope you are all well. Look after yourselves and wrap up warm.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but no rain at the moment, fingers crossed the driveway peeps are able to get more done.

Enjoy your travels Cruiser, have a good time in Dublin Jo.

My hospital appointment turned out to be rather traumatic. The lasered eye is great, but he (a different and new consultant) said the membrane is beginning to grow over the right eye so 'we might just as well do it while you're here to save you coming back in a year or two' :o  He wasn't at all as nice and calm as the one who did it last time, very impatient which made me extra nervous and flustered, afterwards I was in tears. Oh well the good thing is it's done, hopefully it works as well as the left one and that's the end of eye surgery.

This afternoon we're off to the cinema to see Doctor Strange, the trailor looked good so we'll see........

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Its freezing here.

Work for me - my long day so stuck here until 5.45pm. At least I'm out and about for a while this morning.

Full of cold although its on its way out as I feel much better today than I have for the past couple of days.

Morning all, it's not raining here...yet...so I hope Jo and Joe have some dry time for their day out! I have Pilates this morning, but need to go to the bank first. Afterwards a quick trip to the supermarket for Michael's favourite icecream which is not available locally, then a quick drive home before it melts  Not sure what we will do later. Glad you got a smooth trans Atlantic sailing Cruiser, enjoy the rest of the cruise. Have a good day everyone :)

ETA......rain just starting, sorry Jo!

Morning :)
Very very cold but without the lovely blue sky today, and rain forecast for later.

I've been for a stomp up and down the town, fruitless exercise for a nice plain polo neck jumper
No wonder M&S are in trouble, there's quite a lot of clothing in our food hall but not a single item I'd have been even half tempted by. And I tried the website for a nice, plain, polo neck jumper...zilch! If they would pay more attention to what was always their staples, they'd recover in no time I'm sure.
Stopped at W/rose and did a lot better, although food only :)

Jen that's awful, I know they have a lot of patients to get through but they should remember you're human (((xx)))
Jo I do hope it's not quite as bad weather as it was for our day in Malaga!
Hope you're all doing ok, and heating fully functioning

Morning all

very nippy this morning; left the house a few minutes early to have extra time to sit in the car sipping on my coffee whilst waiting for the windows to de-ice. Still really cold and they're expecting rain later today. I can handle cold, rain and wind, but not in any combination of the two - one at a time please!

Jen, that sounds absolutely horrendous, you should write a letter to them, not necessarily to complain but as Di says, to remind them that they are dealing with people who have emotions and feelings. Hope all is OK now? x

Di, Nadine was looking for a polo neck jumper a while back and also struggled to find one; it would be nice if shops to stick to some basics on top of the fashion things (that don't always suit everyone as it is)
Jo, hope you're having a fairly good time despite the weather x

Everyone else, hope you're having a good day
