Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 11 Nov 2016, 06:37

Good morning.

Set to be another gorgeous day. 8-) 8-)

Off for my run very shortly and then back for coffee!

Popping into town mid morning to Primor - they have a sale on and I love their nail polishes and will have a look to see if my favourite perfume has some euros deducted. Be rude not to.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for the usual Friday night beers and tapas. :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, hope you find a nice new nail polish - I really love the freebie I got from Nails Inc, thanks to Di's post on the Boutique board :D

Morning everyone :) We have a gorgeously sunny and crisp day here today - I have another busy one as I am seeing my client at 11.30, then need a few bits in town afterwards. Then home to do some housework and maybe get my winter bedding plants in while the house is quiet - Becky will be at work and Mick will have left, with the dogs, to pick up Harry :D :D :D :D :D Really looking forward to seeing him 8-) 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Not sure what the forecast promises, but its nice and dry at the moment. Hoping the driveway peeps have a couple more good days and can get it finished.

All our deliveries arrived yesterday, but by the time they got here it was too late to go shopping so that's what we'll be doing this morning.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning! It's sunny but frosty here, the paths are quite slippery after the rain we had yesterday.

Just on the bus with Joe, on our way to his hospital appointment. We'll do a bit of shopping in Stafford afterwards plus his XBox headset needs returning to Game - again - and he has some dollars that he wants to change back so we'll do that too.

Hope you find some bargains Ally! I got a new nail polish yesterday from Wilko of all places! I was passing their cheap make up range when a colour caught my eye - £1.60. One coat has covered perfectly. Time will tell what it's staying power is but more expensive ones don't seem to last long on me before I need to redo them anyway.

Kaz, have a great weekend with Harry!

Have a good day all :D

Hope it stays dry for your driveway Jen xxxx

Morning Jo, I agree about nail polishes, sometimes the really cheap ones are just as good if not better ;) Trial and error  Hope Joe's appointment goes well xxx

Morning all

Well it's Friday, which is always a good thing. A beautiful sunny morning too, pity I'm in the office and typically - tomorrow is expected to be rather miserable.

Ally good luck with the shopping, hope you get what you're wanting.
Kaz, hope you get everything done you want to, esp the planing bit - that's the fun part
Oooh Jen, definitely fingers crossed they can get the drive finished today; that would be amazing!
Jo, you also sound like it's a busy day. Good luck with the appointment and hope you also get everything done you want to

Usual work day for me. Friday office lunch = Burgers; yum yum yum. Then evening in

Have a lovely day all x

Thanks Kaz and Ria, it's just routine - we'll be hitting the bakery in the hospital lobby when it's done, he's been nil by mouth this morning! And surprise surprise they're running late!

Are burgers a regular Friday lunch Ria? Enjoy them!

Fingers crossed for a spell of dry weather Jen!

Sadly? not  The company gets in lunch for everyone every Friday which is a real bonus and treat. It used to be pizza from Pizza Express every Friday but then soon branched out so now it's a variation of all sorts - Indian, Italian, Burgers, Thai, Greek ... it's fab :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

That's really good, nice that there's a variety too!
At John's office they used to take cakes in and I used to enjoy baking them when it was John's turn but a couple of people were incredibly greedy and others missed out so it all ground to a halt.

Afternoon all, it was lovely earlier on but is very dull now, with rain on the way. I've had Kellie here this morning, she is asleep now. Miss Osc will be here about 1.45 and she will lift her from her sleep, as I have a hair appointment at 2pm, a chance to finish the good book I am reading. Mr Osc is playing his usual Friday golf. We have more or less made (one ;) ) holiday decision for next year, it will be our 45th anniversary in May so we thought we might return to the Lake Garda hotel we liked so much this year to celebrate. Hope everyone is having a good day :)
