Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 23 Nov 2016, 06:45

Good morning.

Forecast good today after a very drizzly day yesterday.

Off for my self-inflicted daily torture in a minute.

Back to enjoy being at home then work 6 - 9 and home for dinner, Masterchef and IACGMOOH.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and all to come along later.
Glorious day here today. Finally starting to feel like summers around the corner.
Got my orders out, lawns mowed and had a bit of a potter in the garden. Oh gosh it needs weeding. The chickens have really done a good enough job in the vegetable garden and I need to plant it out soon. Note to self, let them in there earlier next year.
Everything happens for a reason

Morning Ally, Weka and everyone

A gorgeous but ferlippin' cold morning here

We'll be gardening down the drive later, I really want to clean it all up, then I'll be making a stew for tomorrow.

off out for dinner tonight. There's a grill place in Ourique we always used to visit before we moved. They'd cook the meats on a huge open bbq in the restaurant, lovely :D :D The last time we went, the bbq wasn't on and the meats were just re-heated

But new owner have recently taken over and apparantly, it's as good as it used to be :Hi: :Hi:

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Ally, hope the torture session to day went well and was fun. Enjoy the day and your work and then your evening
Weka, winter is also slow in making an appearance this part of the world. It's cool(ish) and wet, but given we're nearly December we haven't really had all that many frosty mornings. I do think though that the weather patterns are changing and Winter now only starts mid-December / January.
Ton, enjoy the dinner tonight - hope it's as good as people say and you remember
Kaz, you too enjoy your day

Usual work day and evening home for me, so nothing exciting to report....

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Loved the film yesterday, a great mix of wonderful special effects, excitement and some proper belly laughs :D

A bit annoyed with the driveway peeps, there really isn't much left for them to do and although the weather was ideal they didn't turn up yesterday. I had a text to say it should be later today, but as rain's forecast I think it's doubtful. Add to that they've started preparation for the grass in the back garden, goodness knows when it will all get finished. Having a moan really, work going on outside isn't too disrupting, but we've had enough now and just want to get back to normal

Did mean to get up a bit earlier, planning to go for coffee with the ladies if it stays dry in the next hour.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's dull and drizzly here but forecast to brighten up as the day goes on. I'll take Billy this afternoon. I'll catch up on episodes of Trollied this morning.

I've done a bit of shopping this morning, including buying a small pop up Christmas tree for Joe's room. He uses all has a full sized one but since doing his room out I can't think where it'll go. There's plenty of room for one but not anywhere near a socket for his light's.

Hope you weren't running too late Kaz!

Jen, what a nuisance. You'd think that they'd just want it finished too so that they can get on with their next job. Hope they turn up at some point today.

Ria, it's a bit milder here at the moment but we've had some very chilly weather. I was only saying to John the other week that Winter seemed early this year.

Have a good day all!

Morning all, nice enough day and not as cold as recently. We are on the bus into town - I want to get new dance shoes and himself wants some cord trousers and a few kitcheny bits. We'll have lunch out too, to save cooking when we get home. Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon :)
Much nicer day here today, quite bright and not raining. Still flipping cold with a biting wind.
Meriad I reckon it's just that much warmer in London, it's been definitely winter here for at least a couple of weeks.

Been into town (report on boutique), had a wander and got a few bits of shopping. No dinner to cook, made a sausage casserole last night with bargain Duchy organic sausages, and bargain soup mix, and there's plenty left to have on pasta tonight :)
Hope you're all having a good day

Hi all - been on a days' annual leave today, and my final half day on Saturday so no work for me till Monday! 8-)

Typically I woke REALLY early and ended up getting up....I was tidied up, washing on, showered and out the door before 10....went to Darlington and had a good three hour shopping spree....got a few more gifts and had a coffee and some lovely cake in Hash. I've been online all afternoon trying to cut bills down....my TalkTalk broadband one and also my Sky one! Might make a new thread about that as I have questions...

It's been a glorious day weather-wise - blue skies and sunshine, lots of flooding in fields though from the other night/day....very cold now!

Hope everyone is having a good day - I've got pork things out for tea, I intend to do some sort of stir fry with them. Jen is currently in Edinburgh - she and Kyle are away for a couple of nights browsing the Christmas markets up there....she sent pics of Alnmouth from the train....I wanted to cry   :?

xxx
