Well there I was.....

....slumped in a chair, no make up as I have a slight eye infection and needed to put in drops, just had my lunch and at 2.40 I get a text from a dancing friend saying she was on her way to Dancing with the Stars, someone who was supposed to go was sick and yes, it was short notice but the ticket was mine if I wanted it. So what did I do? Hesitated for ooooh 3 seconds and texted back yes! Bearing in mind that it is a good hour's drive away (although I did it in less ), I sort of dolled myself up in less than half an hour, got on the road and was there by 4.15. Loved it again, all couples were dancing tonight and the atmosphere was brilliant. This was the first elimination but thankfully none of our Irish pros was knocked out. Live broadcast at 6.30 for two hours, then a mix and mingle on the dancefloor before coming home. Goodness only knows how I will feel tomorrow, never even had any dinner

I'm paying for it today Sitting in the doctor's waiting room feeling as bad as I did a week ago. Sore throat, red sore eyes, feeling wrecked I would say it was worth it though
