Good Morning Saturday

Postby JoM » 08 Apr 2017, 06:01

Good morning all, it's a lovely sunny one here.

John left for Sunderland at 5am and I'm just seeing Tom off for his shift before walking Billy. Joe's out with friends today and mother in law is back this afternoon. I forgot to ask John when she was back, hope it's not late as I need to go out this afternoon.

Thoughts are with Jen xx

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, and everyone :) Great weather for dog walking Jo :)

Thinking of you this weekend, Jen (((((x)))))

Lovely morning here too :) A quiet Saturday planned here, B has a few days off so will come out with us later for lunch, but she has a 2pm hair appointment so Mick and I will go and see D. I need to check on my cornflower seedlings while we're there :D

The weather forecast is amazing for the whole weekend, so I hope you all enjoy it :)

Have a good day all :) xx

Good morning Kaz & JoM,
It is sunny but there was frost on the car windscreen this morning. Have been for petrol to Tesco. Can only use the self service as there is a technical problem so you can only pay by credit card at the pump. First time I have done this.
Having estimates for new glass in four windows ths morning. They are double glazed and keep misting up. They have been in several years.
We use a small l0ocal company. He has done work for us before.
Have a good day everybody.

A gentle pootling day for us. I'm still taking care of my poorly back and Grumpy is still getting over a nasty cold - and we both have hayfever, so the sniffing, coughing nad sneezing will go on for a few more weeks

Popping into Ourique later, as we need more beer   and we'll have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning :)
What a beautiful day, and properly warm too!

I've been out without a coat, went into town early to have a wander round the market, hadn't been for ages.
Some poor old chap was being given (fruitless I'm afraid) Cpr by a paramedic in the middle of the high St :(

Bb walked both dogs in turn this morning as I was getting washing done, having a shower and eating etc, and knew I needed to get into town early on a day like this, to be able to park.
The High St was far too crowded for me by the time I came home. I don't know why people take their dogs down there, they can't enjoy it.

Enjoy your gardening Ria, I guess I could do a bit of that :)
Thinking of you Jen x

Hope you all have a lovely day

Good afternoon all.

It's a lovely sunny day here, and we've been into town for a bit of shopping, and some
extra items for afternoon tea on Tuesday, when my niece and her family are visiting us
- all the way from the U.S.A. I'm so looking forward to seeing them.

Hope you are all well, and enjoying this spell of lovely weather.

Hi all - I have been to work this morning, cold start but it's gorgeous now! My boss is off to the Lakes now for a week's holiday - we go in two weeks so I hope he keeps the good weather there!

Thinking of you Jen, tough times ahead xxxx

We are minding Lewis tonight as T has tickets for the Sunderland match tomorrow and it's easier to go from here....D and J have gone up to the caravan today as they have a new electric fire to fit (our old gas one was condemned last week! ) but coming back to leave Lewis and also as D has a works night out planned.

Have a good sunny Saturday all xxx

Hello all, what a lovely day it is.

Busy day so far, done the supermarket shop, put the washng on and hung it out, then to the bookies to lose my annual £10 on the Grand National. should any of you be having a flutter, don't put your money on Tenor Nivernais as it is carrying the Curse of Cromwell!

It's been a dear day besides that, as MrsC has reminded me that of the Great Shrinkage Disaster. It wasn't my fault, I was only trying to help.. But, I did put some clothes into the tumble dryer marked "Do Not Tumble Dry". Including her favourite jeans and a beautiful new limited edition top, both of which are now quite a bit smaller than they used to be.

So the crowbar has been applied to the wallet and she's off to replace the ruined duds.

In other news sister in law has announced she's going to become as lesbian as she has had enough of bl00dy men! Her dad ate his fish from the fish shop and then complained she hadn't warmed it up enough for him and then went on and on about it, and her partner (been together a long time but both have their own place) has been and I quote "As foul as a bag of rats" to her.

Have a good day in the sun everyone.
