Good Morning Friday

Good morning all, it's been raining quite heavily here overnight.

No plans for today apart from housework and then food shopping tonight.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning Saundra :) :)

We had rain overnight too, after a lovely sunny day. Looks cloudy out there now, rain forecast *sigh* Sainsbury's later as we're out of bread. B isn't working today, so will probably walk up there with me :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

So far so good, we didn't get rain until after 5pm again yesterday, but then it really came down and looking outside went on most of the night. It's dry now so fingers crossed it stays that way until later.

Up early as I'm off out for coffee with a couple of the ladies. Didn't go on Wednesday so thought it would be nice to have a mini catch up today.

No plans for this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, we're back! Well we have been back since 9pm-ish on Wednesday night, but the children were delivered to us just after 8am yesterday, so it made for a busy day as per usual Thursday but an earlier than normal start. However, I did get all the unpacking done, plus two washes. We are off to Cork on Sunday for a dance and to stay the night with my brother, so it's a quick turnaround. It was a lovely, lovely holiday, tranquil and relaxing.

Got some very sad new while we were away - the local Brown Owl died very suddenly, collapsed outside the Brownie Hall on Tuesday evening. She was 78 and a wonderful wonderful person who had run the local Brownies since 1974, plus was very involved in lots of other things for children locally, including setting up the Summer Project. She was a local legend, and managed to be at the centre of the community without ever being an interfering busybody. Miss Osc was in the Brownies, and Michael has done the Summer Project three times. The whole town is in shock - even with her age, she was still fully involved and you just can't imagine the place without her. Her remains will come to the church tonight with funeral mass tomorrow and there will be a huge attendance.

Mr Osc has gone to play golf, I have plenty to do and we are going dancing tonight.

Afternoon :)
A beautiful day here, very pleased as a friend is moving to her brand new house today, the weather makes it so much easier.

Oh Osc that is sad, especially someone lots of local children know so well.

Been to craft and chat this morning, this afternoon back to the local hospital for another scan.

Hope you're having fun Ton and Ria :)

That is sad Osc, she sounds like she was a really nice person.

Not too much on here but we are going out for a meal shortly. It's been a grey and drizzly day but not cold.
