Good morning all, the mist is clearing and it's quite sunny.

Billy's had a long walk, I'll take him again before lunch before it gets too warm for him. The washing's on the line so that will need ironing later and I'm now going to clean the outside windows - only the ground floor though, I don't do ladders! Joe's got a driving lesson at 9.30 but he's awake so I'll sort him some breakfast once he's up. I think he's meeting friends this afternoon. I'm expecting Tom to sleep the day away, he went out with work friends last night and got in at 3.

Have a good day all!

Good morning all - and a happy new month. :)

It's bright and sunny here, and I am off now to get a few items from our local One Stop Shop,
plus the Daily Wotsit - although I must admit I'm getting rather fed-up with it, and would like
to perhaps try another one - preferably a non-political one if there is such a thing. I wonder?

Have a nice day.

Good Morning from a very warm, sunny Kent.
I did`nt sleep well as it was so hot in the night.
Going to get some tomato plants today. I don`t
know why i bother as they are not very successful
but i enjoy trying

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoyed the quiz last night, we came joint 3rd, not bad as we did extremely badly on the anagram round. It was sportsmen and none of us are really into any of that.

Our furniture arrived on time yesterday and after a bit of fiddling it's all in place and looking lovely. Would have been good to sit in the garden and christen it with a bottle of wine this afternoon, but Z and boys will be arriving in an hours time so we'll be off down to the harbour...........oh and a visit to Sorbetto no doubt

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all

Ally, Jo and Kaz, enjoy your respective days pootling about
Jan, hope you're making a good onion gravy to go with the bangers and mash and hope Antonia likes it
Aggers, I'm not sure there is a newspaper that doesn't have a political slant one way or the other. What about looking at subscribing to a magazine like The Week or The Economist instead if that's of interest to you. The news you can get online or on TV and it's all the same same really :?
Lissie, I'm the same with my courgette plants as you are with the tomatoes. My tomatoes are usually fine as they're in the greenhouse, but I really struggle with courgettes; I get a few and then they all succumb to blossom end rot / mildew or something. But every year, despite my saying the previous one that it'll be my last time - I try again. I am determined!
Jen, enjoy the time with the boys - and once they're in bed you can still enjoy the new garden furniture. Have you got a photo of it?

Well usual / sort of usual for me today. Usual work day but heading home via Tesco to get some groceries in. My niece arrives back after 2.5 weeks in Morocco so I need to stock up the fridge with veg etc and buy ingredients for dinner tomorrow - she's cooking a veggie curry which will be nice.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

House now clean 8-) and I went for a quick walk down to the bin and back. A car was coming towards me and he very kindly stopped and waited until I had walked past, before driving off again. Saved me being smothered in dust. Thank you, whoever you were.

Of course onion gravy too Ria, our own onions :D

Rather warm now, so just waiting for Grumpy to clean the pool and I-ll head in.

Back now from walk number two. It's getting very warm, the washing I put out earlier is already mostly dry - including towels - and the sun isn't even on that side yet. I also gave the kitchen a good going over with the steam cleaner in between walks, did the floors, tiles, sinks and counters.

Tom's up already :o - oh to be 20

Kaz, he's had his fourth lesson today and is enjoying them.
