Good Morning all.
It is rather nice here at the moment but after the
way it changed yesterday i am not certain it will last.
Just going to Aldis later to stock the old man up with
his red wine. He says it is medicinal!!!!!!
I had a terrible night`s sleep--what with reflux and a
bad stomach. Will doze myself up with Imodium and Gaviscon
and hope for the best.

Another day dodging the showers here, I reckon! Yesterday was very mixed, blue skies one moment, followed by strong winds and showers, then sunshine again

Mick and I are meeting my friend A and her hubby for lunch in a pub in Westgate, down near the Cathedral A says the food is very good, Mick says it used to be one of the watering holes for him and his BT mates when he worked as an engineer, but that's many moons ago Looking forward to good food and good company

Morning all, the weather doesn't look promising and at the moment it is only 13 degrees We had quite a late night last night as the dance didn't end until midnight, so it was 1am before we got home. Nothing major planned for the day, a few h/worky bits and bobs. It is a bank holiday here and there is a jazz and blues festival on in our little town - friends of ours will be around and said they would pop in to say hello....better get out the good biscuits

I did some gardening yesterday, we really should be out doing some more, but instead we're enjoying a nice coffee and watching the cricket

Plan to do a bit of a tidy up ready for the boys. I know, that sounds contradictory as they're bound to make a mess but they don't go home until Thursday and Sue arrives Saturday so it will only give me a day to get the bedroom sorted.

Well it was lovely! A little 16th century coaching inn, at the end of a passageway not far from the Cathedral! We sat in the courtyard for a while then moved inside to eat as it was getting a bit chilly, despite the sunshine! We all had a roast, then Brian had a pud while we all watched him, as we were stuffed to the gills! I had lamb, it was beautiful, and we'll definitely be going again We were there until almost 4pm
