Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 15 Nov 2017, 06:31

Good morning.

Sunshine and cloudy forecast.

I'm off for a walk shortly.

Need to nip to Plaza Mayor as I have a 20% off voucher for C & A with the expiry date today.

Work 6 - 9 and home for the new series of Peaky Blinders! :Hi: :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
A bit murky at the moment but is meant to clear.

Seems to be quite a lot on my list today, the most important being Minnie's appointment at the grooming parlour at 10.00 :)

Good news yesterday, eldest has a job :D
In IT, for a medical research company, in Richmond.
He starts in December so is busy looking at flats.
We're taking him and his brother out to Prezzo tomorrow night, to celebrate but also because he is unlikely to get much time off over Christmas.

Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning Ally :) Ahhhhh C&A!! Happy memories of getting the bus to Hounslow, on a Saturday afternoon with my friends, to the big branch there :D

Morning everyone :) Looking dull and grey here, although it's a bit early to tell really ;) Not sure what I'm doing yet, there is plenty to get on with here, but I do need to get a birthday present for a friend whose birthday is next week. That will need posting

D is having her cataract done tomorrow, and yesterday she asked me to go with her after all. I will probably spend Friday with her too, making sure she's ok, so thinking about it I had better go into town, or the Quays, and get that present today. Might get a few Christmas bits and pieces while I'm out, as I am determined to be organised this year, rather than leaving it until the last minute! That way I can try and relax when it does arrive, rather than rushing round like a blue-arsed fly, like I usually do :P

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Minnie just goes along with it, in her usual good natured way.
She loves being brushed which helps, if I say brush she goes and lays on her bed, but she's no good at being turned over/around!

Morning everyone

Gorgeous sunny morning 8-)

Well done to eldest DI :Hi: :Hi: Was that one of the one's he was after when we spoke? Hope he finds accommodation not too far away.

Off to Ourique later, food shopping, now interesting  Need batteries for my kitchen scales - went to make naan breads the other day, put flour in bowl, pressed button, and nowt. nada. nuffin

Dimas is coming round this afternoon - with Gez's rotovator - to turn over the veggie plot. We're a bit late doing it, but he wouldn't do it before as the ground was too hard. We might have one day of rain next week, which will help.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you lot

Di, that's fab news for the eldest - congratulations to him; well done!
Gorgeous Minnie - she'll look even more fab after her grooming
Kaz, enjoy the shopping and makes sense to get started now and save the rush later. And in case I don't get online in time tomorrow best of luck to D; hope the op goes well. I think being with her on Friday makes sense.
Ally - same as Kaz I miss C&A; you could always find something there and not break the bank.
Jan, good luck with the turning of the veggie plot, hope Dimas gets it done. Say hi to him
Lissie, how does the nectar point double up work - I don't have anywhere near as much as you (only £35 worth of points), but double that up and it's not bad at all ;-)

Usual/usual today again which is nice...

have a lovely day all x
