Forecast warm and sunny so I'll take myself off for a yompette shortly.

Back to pootle then work 4 - 9 then I'm meeting Don in the plaza for a couple of beers and a bite to eat.

Dark and very windy but the overnight rain has stopped at the moment.

Bb left an hour ago for Tunbridge Wells again, last one for now.
I shall be walking Minnie once it's light, then back to try and get out for craft starting at 9, may be a little late!

Morning all

So windy here, got woken up by lots of banging and clanging outside, it's dustbin day and most of them have been blown over

E was up and down looking out of the window, the alarm was set anyway, so I gave up in the end and got up. He's booked in at the dentist for a filling this morning. Being woken up suddenly seems to upset my stomach these days, so I've just had a bowl of cereal and hope it settles down. Goodness knows how I ever managed when I was working

Planning to go out for the weekly shopping later, M&S and then Tesco. The forecast says dry weather, hope the wind calms down. Just heard on the news it's been really bad in some areas, hope everyone here is safe.

Been watching the young rafeiro, try and control the sheep Not a chance. Obviously he/she is young one and one of the sheep is not taking kindly to being herded - and charged the dog At least the dog quietened down. Only barked a few times, but that their job - keep predators away

Washing machine on, just means every time we go out of the back, the dog will bark, but hey ho.

Will be meeting Antonia later, for a coffee.

If only we could !
I read somewhere that the passage of time during your lifetime is like ridng a bike. The first twenty years you ride, ever so slowly, uphill.
Then you have many years along the flat - but then you come to the final part, when you travel downhill, faster and faster and you find
your brakes won't work. You know the rest! But there's some lovely scenery on the way, and some lovely other cyclists to accompany you.
So - cheer up !

It's dry and sunny here this morning, and I'm off now to get my morning paper.

It's sunny and dry here despite a forecast for a lot of rain this morning. It's a lot calmer too after a very windy night.

Bill's been with walked and I'm now just having coffee before carrying on with some housework. I need to meal plan and do a shopping list too.
