3 more minutes!

That is how much extra daylight we will get from now on, and it gets better, by 11th Feb it will be 4 minutes a day. :Hi:

I do know some rubbish.... but it is good rubbish. ;) :o  8-) 8-)

That's good news, Frank.

Better than some of that printed in the Daily Whatsit.

As I look out of the window at the pitch black with scudding clouds, I am reminded that 3 minutes is not very long...

However as I've just had the news that my ex company is hiring me back in the next two weeks, I'm heading up to Scotland, tomorrow, to pull the injectors out of my car and replace them with the set I picked up Tuesday night the other side of Nottingham. I'll be heading up to dark at 3pm land.... Cold too.

When I've done that I'm heading right back down to France and home to pick up some more stuff and get an Amazon returns parcel I left at home when we came over. More light there, more towards 5pm as it's more easterly of the CET timezone.

Then I'll come back over a day or 2 before I start work and get myself organised. By which time it should be closer to 4 minutes...

I used to travel into Edinburgh early when I worked at RBS the first time. The Spring clock change happened just as it was becoming decent light for the drive. Only to be thrown back into darkness for a few more weeks..

Three minutes per day, stretching to four between now and 11th Feb gives us another 1 hour and 20 mins daylight.... not to be sneezed at. ;)
