Good morning Monday

Morning :)
Lovely out there at the moment, not seen the forecast yet.

No yoga today as it's half term, so a few of us are meeting for coffee.
G is picking me up, we're going to a garden centre quite close by but I've never been to. It's meant to be good for food etc.

My new cleaner will be coming too :)

Yesterday's dinner was solved, I bought a pie :D
Chicken with leeks and a creamy white wine sauce, it was delish :)
Hope you all have a good day

Morning Di, morning all. :D

It's so gorgeous out there I was out running by 7.45. 8-)

Back now and enjoying a coffee on the terrace. :D

Nail painting and various bits of pootling then work 6 - 9.

There's a new John Simm drama on ITV tonight running over the next three nights. Tis bound to be good. :D

He's also on something on BBC1 at the same time so that'll be a catch up worth watching.

Have a great day everyone.

Enjoy the garden centre D1 and that sounds like a good start to the day Ally.

We are shortly off relative transporting and going to see Enthusiastic Dog and take him for a spot of ball throwing. It is freezing and icy outside, ice on the car and the pavements, so it might be a short dog walk!

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

We had a couple of inches of snow fall last night so this morning it's frozen solid  so no walk yet. I'm hoping it'll thaw for a walk at some point this morning as it's sunny and we're forecast around 5c. The main roads are in an appalling state around here, even the A34 is treacherous. Joe has a follow up appaointment with the surgeon at Stoke this afternoon.

Thinking of little Pepper today xx

Have a good day all :)

Morning everyone

Sunshine, clouds and a little rain so far this morning   Warmer though ;) think we've had the last of the really cold now. Struggling up to 15C again later.

Hope all goes well with the surgeon Jo x

Enjoy the garden centre Di x Our nearest is in the Algarve and we ill, one day, find it ;)

I have a smear test this afternoon, then we'll head over to the car mechanic, to book the car in to sort out an oil leak, then onto the builders merchants, to order more gravel. Will pop into Pingo, on the way back, to get something quick and easy for dinner.

On the way home, we may just stop for a coffee 8-) 8-) or a beer ;)

Have a good day everyone, stay safe and warm xx

John had a text this morning from Bob who he works with. He usually cycles into work but couldn't due to the weather so was asking for a lift.
Bob lives 2 miles away from us in the centre of town, right by the railway station.
It took John 50 minutes to get from our house to Bob's.

Morning all

Di, enjoy the garden centre - they're always a good place to mooch the time away. That pie sounds delicious - and yay re the blood test!
Ally, your day sounds perfect; I could do with a quiet day at home today - the weekend was busier than expected
Jo, wowzer that's a long time for very little distance. Is that because of the icy roads or just regular traffic? Good luck for Joe's appointment
Kaz, good luck for Pepper today
Crommer and Jan, enjoy your respective days being busy

usual / usual for me so nothing exciting to report

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everyone. It's bright and sunny here but bitterly cold with a touch of snow on the garden. I have my exercise class this morning followed by lunch with two friends and then I need to get to Home Bargains for some fat balls for the little birds who are going through them at a rate of knots in this icy weather. Daughter-in-law Fiona is making dinner tonight so no cooking for me today.
