Postby Ally » 06 Mar 2018, 06:31

Good morning.

Sunshine and clouds forecast..that'll do nicely for a good run.

Back to get ready and walk into town - I printed off the parentals boarding passes yesterday so the post office is a must today to get them in the post. 20 days!! :Hi: :Hi:

Work 4 - 9 and my resident chef has promised red Thai curry for dinner (thanks to me drooling over Masterchef last night.  )

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Dull out there but dry for now.

20 days Ally, no time at all :D

Didn't feel up to yoga after all, but went and joined them for coffee, which was lovely. Felt better as the day went on.

Today there is nothing at all on the calendar, so I shall see what I fancy after my shower.
Have a good day all

Morning all :)

Ally, that time will pass really quickly! :D

Di, the day's your lobster then ;) Hope you have a good one xxx

Glad you're getting that rain Jan, no nasty drought later on! 8-)

Well it's dry and dull here, which is ok. I had an optical migraine yesterday, flashing zig zag lights, and my BP went sky high - Mick took it with his cuff as I felt a bit odd. I slept fine and am just a bit tired this morning, so will go for my walk then go and see D as usual :) I've not had one for a few years, so hopefully just a one-off.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Hopefully it is a one off Kaz. Have a lovely day whatever you decide to do Di. More rain Jan! If it's needed though, rain on. Red Thai curry sounds good Ally. You must have a good chef!

Looking after enthusiastic dog this afternoon. MrsC is going to an ante natal class with daughter.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

It's dry and more Spring-like here this morning, and all the snow has disappeared. Just had a brisk walk to the local shop.

Hope you are all feeling fine, and have a pleasant day.

Kaz mine tend to come in batches, every time I think I haven't had one for a few days, there they come, sometimes three in a day, but usually several in a week once they start.
Often no side effects, but sometimes one will leave me washed out and, as you say, a bit odd.
Hope you're ok today x

Good morning all, it's sunny and quite mild - there's still a fair bit of snow to melt though!

The drive's been finished this morning, they were here at 7 and they've done a really good job. Now I'm waiting for an Amazon parcel. It should be two things, ordered separately, that should fit through the letter box but it looks like they've been boxed together so no doubt they'll be in a huge box. I've wasted a good couple of hours trying to get the printer to work this morning too, it eventually decided to play nicely.

Hope that's a one off Kaz xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here, a visitor would never guess we'd had snow just a few days ago.

E managed really well yesterday, finally got home just before 9pm. Not a journey he'd want to do every day, but it all went very smoothly. The consultant gave him a very thorough going over and said all clear again, see you in 6 months time. That will take it to 5 years so we thought the next one would be his last, but he's told E to think things through as he has the option to have annual check ups for a further 10 years. Much as we'd like to be done with it, we've had a little chat and it's probably a good idea, melanoma is so unpredictable and has a nasty habit of recurring many years after the 'all clear'. It would mean he stays in their system and only has to ring for an urgent appointment, rather than having to start from scratch and go through the GP referral route. We'll see, he's got 6 months to make a decision.

Spoke to Matthew yesterday, no ops this week. He said there was a slight chance of a cancellation, but not very likely. Back to day by day, week by week. No guarantee it will be next week......

Have a good day :D

Jen, that's just shocking - I really really hope they get their act together and you get your much needed op asap. Good news for E though and I think it makes total sense to go for that annual check up; a day trip on the train is a small price to pay for peace of mind and not having to worry about getting back into the system

Jan, is the rain also falling where it needs to, to fill the dams? Bet those weeds are loving it ;-)

Board meeting day today so a busy morning; but now quiet that they've all gone off for lunch

Vibes for the poorlies, hope you all feel better soon

Usual usual for me; but celebrity GBBO tonight :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:
