Nice and warm.

Don and I are off into Glasgow this morning and staying in a hotel tonight.

Amongst other things we'll be visiting the Panopticon theatre and popping into Mrs Miller's vintage sweet shop.

Many miles will be walked so my comfiest Converse will be worn.

Misty start to the day, will be lovely and warm later.

Today will be the final day of the rendering. They've done a brilliant job. And clean up as they go along. Just the loo and shower walls to do, but they're fiddly, as well as the beams, there are the taps to do around.

Think we have to pop in to get more cement for them. Hopefully, the tiles will be ready too

Pork and clams for dinner.

Good morning all!

I'm on the bus to Stafford, I need a bag for this wedding next week so thought I'd give TKMaxx a try. I almost gave up on the bus though as I was very early at the stop, I was there before it would've left town to come this way. it didn't turn up and the app showed it as being 3 miles further on. I walked to the post office to post a birthday card and then decided to walk towards town for the next one and it came along the road as I was walking, thankfully he stopped when I waved him down.

Another sunny day here. Usual work day for me but then dropping my car off for it's service tonight. The garage it goes to is quite far out the way so I drop it the night before, collect a courtesy car and then collect again next evening. Thankfully last year for the service plan so next year it'll be SOOOOO much easier

Another scorcher here

Managed a better night, was up 3 times but able to get off to sleep again. Finally got up properly around 8.30 so a big improvement on yesterday.

We were planning a trip into town, but my hip is playing up, quite sore in the groin. It came on Sunday, not sure if I moved badly. Decided it's best to rest it for a couple of days. Seeing physio tomorrow so will mention it then.

Need to potter in the house for the rest of the morning and then plan to sit in the garden with my kindle.
