Bb hasn't told work it's finished, he's going to enjoy another couple of Wednesdays off

Pleasantly cool at the moment and not hotting up too much

Just watching the news, the fire is still out of control and there are now over 1400 firefighters. The politicians are now blaming everyone bar themselves, as per usual, although our president is there and he is such a lovely man. Chaos rules at the moment

Will do the watering and Grumpy is doing some tiling, He can't do much as Steve is coming up "sometime" today to finish off what he should have finished off yesterday. Getting a little peed off with his sloppiness He knows the furniture is coming on Friday and we need the tiling done before then, but he keeps trying to faff about with the satellite dish or mutters on about the drains or the shower and then forgets to bring up the stuff he needs

I did all the ironing yesterday so will do the cleaning today.

Promised Grumpy steak for dinner tonight, to make up for him having to have couscous yesterday

Good morning all, it's much fresher out there this morning

I'm just back from our walk and now I'm getting ready to run into town to do a bit of shopping. Not sure what the lads are doing today. Apparently Tom has a day off but trying to get his work hours out of him is like trying to get blood out of a stone! He knows them but is very vague about what he reveals. I only ask so I know how many people I'm cooking for (I know, if he doesn't tell me then it's his own fault if there's no dinner for him....) but I think he sees us asking anything of his plans etc as an invasion of his privacy

There's housework and some washing to do when I get back.

Jan, that sounds really annoying about Steve. I hope he pulls his finger out and gets it all done before the furniture comes.

Not very sociable at the moment as I have IBS and Reflux.
Doctor only advised Omeprazole but it never seem to help.
I reckon the heat is to blame as it never suits me.

Morning all, it looks changeable out there and is definitely cooler - I've decided not to put out the washing as it looks as if it could rain, luckily things dry well in our utility room. This afternoon, just doing bits and pieces, taking out money in the post office and buying some sterling for the weekend, maybe some light housework
