Morning all

Would love to say it's bright and sunny but actually the gale force wind driving the rain against the window woke me up

Had to be up early anyway as Minnie has an appointment with the vet at 9.10, and she's at the surgery in the next town. Had to make it early as Bb couldn't know if he'd have to go to the Isle of Wight today as well as yesterday, but he worked like mad and got it all done

He still has to work today but later and locally.
Will pop into a shop or two while we're out, then if the weather stays this bad I won't need to brave it again, it really is foul.
Still fighting off whateveritis, so more vits and parrots this morning

You know when you have your hair cut, the next day you sometimes don't remember till you catch sight of yourself in the mirror, I did that this morning

It had got quite long, so about 3" or so shorter - I like to think a year came off with every inch

Hope Debih and Lissie are feeling ok, and everyone else too of course.
Also hope no-one else's weather is quite this bad!

Morning all
Spent the day at the old house, and I can finally see he light at the end of the tunnel. Took all the building rubbl to te tip. All 440kgs of it, and they only charged us $60!!!!! I was expecting a bill in the hundreds. About £30!
The house gets washed next Friday, so the final housework will be done after thm, as I know parts of the house leak quite badly when it has a water blaster pointed at it.
Then the new tenant moves in on the 27th, and the 28th we go on holiday.

Where are those cheerleaders?

Had to go in the ceiling today to alter the fan tubing, and it's all glass insulation up there, so spent the rest of the day scratching. Just had a shower and feel a lot better, now on the couch sipping wine, having cheese and crackers, cuddled under the kids mr men sleeping bag. :lol:

him indoors is busy watching the rugby on tv.

Fingers crossed I get my voice back tomorrow. Hope lizzie, deb, Di and Kaz are back to fighting fit soon.

Di I hope Minnie gets on well at the vet's, and you feel better soon

Glad you like your 'new' hair - I had my nails done yesterday but she's made them quite a bit shorter than usual and they feel and look odd to me. The thing is by the time I realised she'd already done two so it was too late - they'll grow I know, but at the moment I feel like I have paws.......typing is odd too

Weka I hope all the housey stuff goes well, and that the new tenants settle in well

We have rain here at the moment but it's only drizzle, I'm hoping it will stop before lunchtime so I can persuade Mick into a walk 8-)

He needs the exercise, he's hardly been out of the house all week! It was an early start here, Mick had a server change to do at 7am - still I can't complain as until a few weeks ago we were worred sick about him losing his out of hours callout

then await the probable arrival of son 2 grandchildern and 2 dogs :roll:

hopefully he can sort my PC out as its quicker to write a letter :lol:

Good morning

Warm and sunny again. 8-)

I cannot believe I'm up as we didn't get to bed until 4.20am. :shock:

The kitchen disco was in full swing again till then. :lol:

I didn't know until 3 o'clock this morning that I could do high kicks whilst singing along to Come on Eileen!!! :lol:

A walk for me after my usual Saturday morning gaze at Mr Martin.

I must have been drunk last night as apparently I've offered to go food shopping (personally I think Don is making this up!) :lol:

Morning all

We had a lot of rain and wind in the night, but seems to have stopped now thank goodness.
Just food shopping for me today, then out to a Milonga tonight with Mr L and some friends

Weka, I'm glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel now

Hope Minnie got on ok at the vets Di and that you are feeling better.
Kaz, do you know I have never had my nails done :oops:

I should treat myself one day.
I did have my hair done the other day though and I feel much better for it. I had been putting it off because of the noise of the hair driers etc.

kaz 2 dogs running round the garden in the rain :roll:

indie acting like a lunatic and the puppy walking in the mud round the tulips
is no joke
then comming in and walking all over the wood floors
they come in the front door and race throu the hall
and out the door in the front room to the garden
for some reason they love all the gravel :roll:
