Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 24 Oct 2018, 04:57

Good morning.

Warm and sunny again. I'm still waiting to put the duvet back on the bed...it's been off since the first week of May. It's a few degrees cooler at night but not enough to have it back on yet. Annoying as I have some lovely new bed linen waiting to be used.

I'll chance the pool this morning - I've not swam since last Wednesday so might get a brrr when I dive in.

Then I'm going over to take mum and dad to Casa de los Navajas in Torremolinos. It's a house built in 1925 by the Lugue-Navajas family that had ties to the sugar cane industry. It looks gorgeous inside.

After a walk round that we're going for lunch. :D

Work 6 - 9 then home to just be at home!

Have a good day.

Thinking of Bry today. xxxxxxxxxx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start but supposed to be 26C later - oh yeah, right

Looks interesting Ally :D

Off to Ourique after breakfast to do our weekly run around. Bank, Manuel for the insurance, hardware shop, Nelson for stuff for the pool, supermarket for wine, cheese and ham, laundry, opticians, Sonia's for a coffee and drop off some stuff for her daughter then finally supermarket for food, beer.

Grumpy will carry on making the door and frame, I'll be doing not a lot. Back hurts a little, so will lie down and read

Have a good day everyoe, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan and Ally. That does sound an interesting house.

Physio this afternoon, not much else on. It is chilly here this morning, a day to wrap up warm.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it's dull here and chilly - still trying not to put on the heat though. We have arctic conditions forecast for the weekend :? An ordinary day for me, Mr Osc is outside doing some maintenance work, touching up paint etc. I am just about to tidy up, then will go to the post office to post a birthday card to my nephew, take out some money and get sterling for Friday. After that, I'm off to the gym, after which I will have a look at their new stock of gym clothes as I have a voucher to spend. Home to iron

Morning all - a glorious sunny but rather nippy start to the day.

Osc, my heating is temperature (and time) controlled so regardless of time of year, if it drops below a certain temperature it comes on (in the mornings it's 18 and in the evening it's 19 degrees. It came on the first time about 3 or so weeks ago but still not coming on every morning...

Ally, enjoy the house - that looks amazing
Jan, hope you get all your bits and bobs done
Crommers, good luck with the physio

Well I made it to work an hour late today - rail strike combined with faulty signalling equipment just meant chaos this morning.
Usual work day but meeting up with Nadine after work - they're expecting the delays to go until much later today so we figured we may as well meet up and have a natter :D

have a lovely day all

Sounds a bit of a nightmare for you Ria

Phew, got everything done. Apart from the laundry. That will have to wait. Manuel's bank machine wasn't working, so I had to use all the cash I had  and the lady in the laundry wants money up front.

We'll have to go back in on Friday to take our outside light to Marco, as it won't work. He'll replace it for us.

Hot now, 28C 8-) So I'm going to sit outside in the shade and sheep watch 8-)

So are ours Saundra. But in addition to the Saturdays they've also decided to go ahead and have one all this week (excepting Monday)... deliberately over half term.

Afternoon everyone :)

I'm late checking in, so will just send hugs to all, rather than answering so many posts :)

It's been a busy day so far - B and I were at the gym for just after 8am, then home for showers and off to work for B and into town for me, to get my hair cut. There was quite a bit to come off, considering that it was barely 8 weeks since last time! Town was heaving, as it's half term, so I was glad of the quiet walk home!

I'm supposed to be going to Zumba tonight, but after a gym session and two longish walks I might cry off ;) :)

Love to all xxxx
