Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 16 Feb 2019, 07:26

Good morning.

Forecast warm and sunny. 8-)

Off to the coast to walk from where we park the car to Benalmadena and back which is 16kms. :D :D

We've a birthday BBQ to attend this afternoon. They live right at the top of a hill so that'll be fun coming back down tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Supposed to be warm and sunny. At the moment it's very cloudy and not so warm

Houseworkery stuff this morning and then suitably clean and dressed, off to a late lunch just down the road, at Jan and Joquinha's :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Looking forward to it, as she is a very good cook.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning Ally. A lovely morning here, all blue skies and fluffy clouds. Yesterday I saw a man walking through the village stripped to the waist - in February!
MrsC to her charming dads in a bit, then to see her aunt in hospital who was admitted yesterday. She has been diagnosed with gall stones.
I'm staying in mostly, doing crosswords.
Have a great day all.

Dull and murky here. Rail replacement bus services in various places have again ruled out this afternoon's Plan A footie entertainment, but Plan C seems workable, so off to the station shortly.

Mrs O and I usually tackle the Times's basic crossword (not the cryptic one) over coffee every day, and 4 times out of 5, between us, we can usually get it completed, although we do make sure we have well-thumbed Thesauruses and Dictionaries to hand ….. :D :P

Enjoy your day, everyone!

Morning all :)

Ally, you can just roll down it! :D ;)

Jan, enjoy!!

Crommers, I love a crossword, the more cryptic the better! Sudokus, no chance!

Morning Saundra, no sun here today  Hope your washing gets dry 8-) xx

Been to SW, stayed the same again! That's two weeks in a row but I'm not too worried as I'm almost where I want to be ;) Having a lovely cuppa and a turkey club sandwich now, for brunch, in Corretto's :D Off to see D soon, and Mick's youngest brother and his wife, eldest son who is home from teaching in China, and their gorgeous - if boisterous- Weimaraner, Wilson  They're up for the weekend :)

Becky's still away at her dad's until tomorrow - Mick has been on Skink-wrangling duties, I'm afraid I'm not keen :?

Love to all :) xxx

Ossie, The Times cryptic is fiendish, on the few occasions that I've given it a go I've been lucky to get half a dozen  :cute: :geek: I can complete the DM one though ;)

Mornng all, it's not too bad here although there was a drizzley shower a while ago. Edward has gone off to watch Michael playing in a GAA match locally. I decided not to go - I can feel an impeding cold/sinus dose coming on, it has been for the last few days, so I decided that if I just take things very easy this weekend, it might not take hold. I might do some ironing later - or not - and I can do some knitting. A nap might be factored in too ;)

Ossie - should that not be "thesauri" 8-) I do Words with Friends and Scrabble online to try and keep my brain sort of working.
