Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty over the hills, but should be a warm day 8-)

Off to Castro Verde this morning. Like to get there early, before it gets too packed. Need tomato plants, presunto, cheeses.

Then Gez is coming up this afternoon, with some local honey. Fernando makes it from his bees and he lives opposite Antonia. I asked Dimas to get me some, as Fernando doesn't come to the bar much and Gez rang last night to say it was there and she'd like to come up for a chat too. She's having problems with her ex

<hope the poorlies are well on the mend now xx and not over doing it.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I fancy a new nail polish now Ally ;) Have a good day, best wishes to your dad xxx

Have a good one Jan :D

It's sunny here, but chilly! I need a birthday present for Em, who is 50 on Friday, so will walk into town to look around. Meeting another friend from WW for a quick cuppa, and might pop in on D on my way home.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Well woke up to -2 degrees this morning and ice on the windscreen :( Good old April :D

Ally enjoy the time with the parentals; how is dad doing?
Kaz, good luck with the gift shopping, do you have a vague idea?
Jan, hope you get all the bits and bobs at Castro Verde; going to be a while before we get tomato plants into the ground here :D How is the tooth
Saundra, hope you feel better soon - this weather is really playing havoc with people and resulting in lots of colds.

Well a usual work day for me and then meeting up with my friend this evening. I was meant to go on Monday but didn't really feel like it so rearrange for yesterday evening. But given the problems with the trains I had to rearrange again so definitely cannot cancel this evening :D

Have a lovely day all. Ongoing vibes for anyone poorly

xx

Morning all, we are all packed and ready to go. Edward has gone for a stroll around the block while I was finishing up. Another nice day here, yesterday was cold and drizzly, we even had some rain and when we were coming back to the hotel last night, it was very cold (although that didn’t stop us having an ice cream in a favorite ice cream shop  ) We will head off shortly, and it appears we have enough time to stop in a dance shoe shop that we can arrange to pass by :cute:

Good afternoon all, it's dull and quite cool here but the thick fog from first thing has cleared now.

I've walked Billy and then walked into town for some shopping. Tom's working this evening, as is Joe. He's just gone to drop Amanda at college as she stayed last night.

Kaz, I'm having a bit of a dilemma at finding a 50th birthday present! Ruth is 50 next week and I want to spend a bit more than I normally would. I've considered a Jo Malone candle, looked at Diptyque too but keep getting drawn back to the Radley website and I'm thinking maybe a purse. She doesn't wear perfume or make up very often so that rules anything like that out! Then I can start thinking about what to get Rob, her husband and my oldest friend, as he's 50 in July (and as much as I love him, he's so bloody awkward  ).

Hope you're feeling better soon Saundra!

Have a good day all!

Safe journey home Osc x

It's a bitterly cold north wind out there now

Bought the softest black pork presunto I've ever tasted, lushious :Hi: :Hi: And some very tasty cheese too. Felt rather full when we left the stall, as he kept giving us tasters

Aso bought Grumpy some socks and boxers and I got a new frying pan ;)

12 tomato plants are now being put in the garden. We already have some growing from seed, but they're rather small still.

Think I'll be staying at the front of the house, in the semi-shade, out of the wind. No idea what time Gez will turn up, so will read.

Afternoon all :D

Wet and miserable here

Well we did go over to the garden centre yesterday, but just as we left the house the heavens opened and it absolutely bucketed down. E was all for turning tail and staying inside...….what a wimp ;) he was probably righty though, we were absolutely soaked by the time we got there  To add insult to injury they'd run out of paninis, we made do with a cheese and ham toastie instead. Thankfully it wasn't raining when we came back.

We've been extremely lazy and had a long lie in. Planning to pop over to the Toby later for a late lunch/early dinner. They're doing 50% off mains and the offer ends today.

Have a good day :D

Jo I bought a Radley watch on the plane over on Sunday, it’s really cute, although maybe more than you want to pay. It was on special offer on the flight.
