Sunny and forecast 24 degrees... this is Scotland!
We took dad out for a pint last night and even walking home at 10pm there was no need even for a cardi.

Fantastic flight up here yesterday. It would have taken hours by train and included 3 changes. £40 each, checked in an hour before flying and Donald the taxi driver was waiting for us at Glasgow airport to whisk us to dad's and we were with him by 2.30. Perfect.

Don and I are going into Glasgow for the day today. No itenerary planned.... we're going to take it as it comes.

FiL wrangling soon with a trip to Aldi. Visit to our daughter's this PM and a salad tonight.
I still haven't booked the car in for a re-gas of the air con, my mind's like a sieve these days.

Oooh change of plan.

Two of my cousins who live in Aberdeen have asked if I can see them today. Yayyyyy. They should be here around one o'clock and are going to take dad, Don and I out for lunch.

Glasgow tomorrow it is then which is fine as Don doesn't fly home till 6pm Thursday.

Sunny(ish) down here which is nice but changing towards the end of the week. I feel sorry for a friend of mine; she's having a 50th birthday BBQ on Saturday and the forecast is absolutely dire for that day. I do really hope for her sake that it changes and we have sun shine.

Well back at work as of yesterday after the most amazing two weeks off. It really was a fab time away from the office.

Good morning all.

It's sunny and dry here, but we won't be going out, as we have a man In, painting our doors, which I find too painful to do now owing to arthritis in my hands.
I might spend some time in the garden after lunch, however, removing a few dead flowers, which I can just about manage.

Absolutely beautiful sunny weather here today I did some handwashing before I came out - a couple of bits that are supposed to be dry cleaned, but don't really need it

Currently in town having a cuppa in M&S before walking up to see D. Just bought a beautiful orangey coloured top and a scarf in the sale here! Great bargains, I'll post them on the Boutique board later

Good afternoon all, it's hot and muggy here.

I walked Billy first thing and then got the 9.15 bus to Stafford. It's nice at the moment because college has broken up so the bus is empty when it gets here as it's still too early for the free passes to start....but once that clock ticks over to 9.30 midway to Stafford it fills up!

I got some nice jeans from M&S and Kaz, I looked for nail varnish but they don't stock it
