Good morning Friday.

Postby Ally » 19 Jul 2019, 05:44

Good morning.

Another bright sunny day.

I packed some running gear when I came over, bought some new trainers when I was in Glasgow, so first thing for me today is a good long run! There are some lovely parks round here.... I do like nice scenery when exercising.

Back to begin to get on with the things I need to do. I've made a list and plan to do each task and tick it off. Dad's here to help me. Sis and I have been Whatsapping like crazy and she's been such a help too.... I can't wait to see her on Wednesday.

Dad and I are going over this evening to my uncle Stanley's. He's making a curry for us and bought in some craft ales. I reckon a beer will go down a treat.

Have a great day everyone.

Dear Ally, sending you love and strength today ((((x))))

Morning all :) It's 8 years today since I lost my lovely dad - sometimes it feels like forever since I last hugged him, and sometimes only yesterday......

It's raining here, and I'm meeting Em and another friend, from Pilates, Sarah, for lunch at the new Starbucks ten minutes walk from here. She's the florist who did the lovely flowers for us, for Di. Then home to do the cleaning.

Love to everyone xxxx

Morning Jan :) I worked in a Debenhams cafe once, and cleaning out the deep fat fryers was my least favourite job! Ugh

Think my hatred stems from my cleaning job in a hospital, when I was 14. My job was the industrial sized fryers

Big hugs for today Kaz xx

Grumpy making noise, fitting the door frame on the new store room - and being grumpy with it too - I'm steering clear ;)

Good morning all.

It's rather dull, and trying to rain here.
Nothing planned for today, but I have plenty of things I can do to pass the time away!

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Morning all

Hugs to you both Ally and Kaz xxx
Ally, swapping Friday tapas and beer for curry and beer - nawt wrong with that I reckon! :D

Jan, enjoy relaxing - not often you post that you're not going to be doing much so enjoy every minute

Aggers, very dull and dreary here as well and rain is predicted to be on/off most of the day. Friday lunch today is Greek; ordering from a new place so hope it's OK. Hopefully able to leave early.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, it's pouring down here!

I managed to get Bill out for a long walk before it started though, there was just a bit of rain in the air and then it started pouring just as we walked back onto the close so we timed that quite well. We'd have missed it if I hadn't stood chatting to someone around the corner though

I've got housework to do today but and Tom and Joe both have work this evening. Tom's working mostly lates at the moment, or close shifts as they call them. That means that he's there to clean the restaurant once it's closed so he's no stranger to cleaning fryers either!

Lots of love to Kaz and Ally xxx

Lunch sounds good Ria, I hope it works out okay with the new place!

Have a good day all!
