Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Had the most gorgeous sunrise this morning, now can't see any sun, just grey cloud  And a cool breeze  Supposed to warm up later, we'll see.

Will finish off the cleaning I started yesterday  Watching the rain and how the garden changed was much more important

well done to Mrs E :Hi: :Hi: How is she doing now Cruiser?

Athletics for me this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

What are you in Jan, the long jump ? Or is Grumpy for the high jump? :)
Morning cruiser, congrats to MrsE on the weight loss.
We got a phone call at 6.50am this morning on the land line. Father in law had somehow set his fire alarm off and couldn't stop it. The Fire Brigade had to come out. "It'll be his toaster" says MrsC. It was. He hadn't even opened the door to let the smoke out. "He's gormless" says MrsC. He is.
I was hoping that the Firemen might take him back to the station and put him on a shelf but no such luck. ;)
That apart we're taking him for his eye appointment this afternoon and having red wine and pizza tonight.

Grumpy for the high jump Crommers   Daft thing has hurt his shoulder, doing too much over arm, instead of using the step ladders, filling in the new roof :cute: So he'll be a couch potato today and will, no doubt, tell me aI missed a bit when I'm dusting :cute:

Clouds now gone and the sun is out 8-)

Morning all, it’s mostly grey here and we have had some rain. I got up early planning a visit to the hairdresser if he could fit me in, having completely forgotten that their son is getting married this weekend and they are closed. Oh well - it’ll be the ironing then for me :? I’m also getting ready for my trip to Cork tomorrow for two nights - for my birthday present, my brother is treating me to a night in Baltimore and a day trip to Cape Clear Island, his favourite place. Hopefully I might also get to meet my new grand niece.

Sounds like Crommers FiL will be most likely in for the high jump! :cute:

Is that Baltimore, USA, Osc???

Up at 3:30 this morning as the front security light kept on going on and off. I suspect waving foilage in the high winds we have at the moment, but no amount of tinkering with the direction of the sensor or the Time / Lux controls on it would stop the blinking thing! So, because it's an old system and there's no on/off switch, it runs directly off the lighting circuit, had to go and trip the circuit out at the fusebox.

This morning, I've taken shears to the new growth on the front bushes (we'll see if that cures the problem). Also found we'd lost one tomato plant (snapped) but we have plenty of others fortunately so we've still got a good crop ripening. Off now to decide where this afternoon's footie will be, depending on what's on or been called off ….

Have a good day, all!

Morning all :)

Just been to FatFighters, B got her 4st award and was Slimmer of the Week again! :Hi: :Hi: I lost a pound, which is fine ;)

Unfortunately Harry didn't get his theory test, he passed one part, but failed the multiple choice. Not to worry, he's not downhearted, he said he'll get it next time 8-) xx

Will reply properly to everyone later, I'm currently in Corretto's and my tea is getting cold  ;) :D

Love to all xxxx

I know it's not really funny Crommers, but that did make me giggle

Hope Grumpy's shoulder eases with a bit of rest Jan.

Yesterday's pool session went well, I definitely had a good work out, was absolutely pooped when we got home. E enjoyed having a swim too.

We did intend to do a bit of tidying in the garden, our lovely palm tree sheds quite a few leaves/fronds in high winds so there are quite a few to be picked up, but it's definitely too windy to venture out there today. The bed's been changed so the washing machine is on and that's about it.

Have a good day :D
