Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit of a dull start, but at least it's warm 8-)

Off to Ourique later, need to pop into the police station about next doors dog - not sure if he's back or not yet  - and to pick up some stuff for a poorly friend from Pingo. I took her some soup and picked up youngest son from Ourique yesterday.

Back to do not a lot, might pootle with the spray, killing off more weeds.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Yikes, just noticed - Friday 13th

Morning you two, enjoy the sunshine :)

Mick is off again, so we're doing what we normally do and going out for brunch. Being careful, washing hands often, but carrying on as normal, for the moment.

Have a good day everyone xxxx

Morning all. Same weather as Cruiser here, cloudy with sun; the wind has dropped a lot though which is good.
I'll go to the butcher this morning. Local legend has it that one local butcher has a sign in his window saying "Panic buyers welcome!".
MrsC is going to see our daughter and Eliza. Apart from that it will be a quiet day for us.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning all, it looks pleasant enough out there. I’ll go for a walk, I’m doing a bit of “social distancing” and not going to the gym for the next little while - anyway, the owner has cut back very much on classes and is taking measures to try and keep going while trying to keep people safe and well. My friends wanted me to meet them in the cafe after class but I said no. I’ll go for a walk and also do a bit of shopping locally. There is a pile of ironing awaiting my attention :? Edward has gone to play golf.

Good morning all, after a sunny start it's now very grey and dull.

I took Bill for a long walk first thing, there's some washing been done and I've spent the rest of the morning refreshing Jet2's live chat in vain in the hope of getting through on behalf of Joe while he's at work.

Kaz, we're trying to carry on as normal as we possibly can too.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all......almost

Nice and dry at the moment.

That did make me chuckle Crommers  M&S was really quiet yesterday, actually the whole shopping centre was like a ghost town. Apparently M&S was very busy early on, our cashier told us they'd had a run on dried pasta. I understand people are being told to have a couple of weeks of food in the cupboards in case they have to self isolate, a sensible idea, but all this panic buying is getting really ridiculous.

Very sensible Osc xxx

E feels it's best for us to be sensible too, I'm on the at risk list with the diabetes and high BP. Also we're still living in hope we'll get away to Barbados (no virus there yet) we'd be absolutely gutted if flights are still going, but one or both of us was too ill to go. Right now we feel it's worth being a little more careful.

We've had a nice lie in, I've got the washing on the go now, that's about it for us today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I've been in to town as usual on a Friday and it was much the same as normal, busy shops, seemed to be plenty of things to buy although I did my Lidl shop yesterday and managed toilet rolls and things, I've not thought about stock piling stuff, we have enough in (other than perishable, milk and bread) to keep us going a couple of weeks I think anyway. I'm sure we'd cope.

Not sure I can say the same re work. Michael (one of the bosses) is very concerned about the virus anyway (he is a worrier) but then the impact on our business at a time when we are in the middle of expanding is quite worrying. Fingers crossed it doesn't get that bad.

I'm just messing about really atm...there's a wash on and I keep doing little jobs but generally I am chilling I bought a new rug for the cold kitchen tiled floor, hopefully that will help keep those tootsies warm!! And a little basket to store my throws in.

Enjoy the remainder of Friday xx
