Good morning Thursday

Good morning.

Hot hot hot. 8-)

Walk first, back for a swim then having bacon rolls. :D

There's a shady part under a tree which is where I'll be with my book.

Have a good day.

Morning all.

We started 5 days of wetter and more changeable weather after a week of solid 27C temps.

Today my Uncle and Aunt finally escape Portugal. They go for a winter break from late January to mid March every year and have been stuck. They will transit Spain in one go and arrive with us in the evening. They leave again on Saturday as they are trying to get home before the 14 day quarantine kicks in.

I will continue finishing the bathroom in our downstairs conversion. First it was the library and my office, then Mrs S study and my office, now it's a bedroom and my office is an en-suite. I fitted the extractor fan yesterday, replaced 5 failed fibre washers in the central heating and closed the ceiling. Today I box off the ceiling where the main soil pipe juts into the room and put the second layer on the floor. Job done for now, on to the next one.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s dull and cool here. Nothing major planned here, Edward has gone to play football with Michael, the grocery delivery is due between 11-1 and there is ironing to be done.

Morning all :D

Very dull and overcast here, rain promised this afternoon.

Gosh Suff you have been busy. Hope your relatives manage to get home in time.

E and I did a good job with my hair colour yesterday, it's made me wonder if if the cost of having it done professionally is worth it. It would certainly save a fortune if I just went when it needs a cut :? Not much happening here, need to tweak my Sainsbury order due tomorrow and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

I don’t want to brag but....I HAVE THE HOUSE TO MYSELF TODAY :Hi:

Or at least for another hour or so until Joe gets home, but from 9.30 I’ve had peace and quiet...and I only had to make my own lunch and no one else’s  Tom’s gone to Shannon’s and John and Joe are both out at work. It’s been glorious!!

Afternoon everyone :)

Busy this morning, shopping at Sainsbury's was fine as the queue was much shorter than usual. Got everything that we needed, and D's stuff too. Facetiming with Emma at 3 for a chinwag :) Nothing much else planned for the rest of the day. It's much cooler and cloudy here today, no rain yet but forecast for this evening.

Love to all :) xx

How wonderful!!! :D :D :D I would LOVE that for myself, but sadly Tom's work this week has been non-existent so he's been home every day. Just as well we have Netflix!! But I like to be in the house alone, it's not the same - enjoy Jo!!!

My foot/ankle is still too sore to walk far (I'm hobbling but not as bad as yesterday) so that's out, but hopefully another day will see it off. It says dry tomorrow, so might get a walk in! First for a week, if so.

The above is from my post yesterday - it's ever-so-slightly better but there's no way I dare risk walking far, so another day of being in! I have had to be in every day since last Thursday, not counting a visit to my sis on Tuesday ;) Still a little swollen but nothing else visible to work out what has happened - I suspect it will be the soft tissue which always takes an age to heal

Was very cool and cloudy yesterday here, today has been a little better with sunshine on occasion and the odd shower - I did a washload of darks but they're on an airer in the conservatory rather than hanging out, other than that, a little tidy round the house and kitchen and that was it!

Osc I'm so glad your treatment is over xxx

Jen it's easy enough to colour your hair at home, I do mine all the time - fiver a box, saves a fortune 8-) :D
