Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 06 Jul 2020, 05:24

Good morning.

I can't believe I haven't been on here since Friday morning. :o The time has flown!

We have had the most wonderful time with Toni and Pete. :D

Kaz and Jo... Pierce is just over 6 foot tall!!

Over the weekend we've been to 4!! markets, (accidently bought 2 dresses  ) walked loads, eaten out aplenty and laughed non stop. Really smashing.

We're having a last walk round this morning then heading off around 11.

Toni and Pete have their Spanish lesson at noon. :D

Pierce has been attending school in the next town since their arrival 18 months ago and has picked the lingo up really well. :D

We should get home before 4....thank goodness we have air con in the car as temps are nudging 40.

I'll bung the washing on and we'll head out to Gambrinus for a cold pint and an early dinner. :D

Have a great day and I hope you're all ok.

PS...sorry for the long Monday morning post.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already and getting warmer 8-)

Glad you had a good time Ally, safe journey home x

Woken up earlier by Grumpy, stood in front of me, in all his glory  What's that, he said. Being a bit dozy - well, he did wake me up - I looked and saw nothing    He had a tick in his belly button   :o Well, think it was, no glasses, half asleep, bit dozy  Hoicked it out with my tweezers, no redness or anything and it came out easily, so should be alright, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Will do the watering once I've had a coffee and I've got the ironing and spider sweeping that I didn't do yesterday As long as I do it early, it will be okay, heat wise. Oh, and I'll lie on my tum on the lilo later. I have a line of suntan down my legs now

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both, and everyone :)

So glad you had a great time Ally :D 6ft tall, blimey :?

Jan, if he gets the slightest hint of a "bullseye" rash get him straight off to the doctor. Your description did make me giggle though ;)

Another blustery day here - where did summer go? Hopefully it will brighten up soon! Back to earth today after a lovely weekend of nearly normal, plenty of housework and laundry to keep me out of mischief :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

You sound to have ha a wonderful time Ally. In all his glory, Jan?
Same weather here Kaz. Very strange; blustery, threatening grey clouds one minute, sunshine and blue skies the next. MrsC reckons it's more like April than July.
A Sainsburys run is coming up this morning followed by MrsC and her sister in law to their dads.
Fish pie for tea.
Have a good one all.

Morning all

Well, that was another weekend that whizzed by and here we are again - Monday

Ally, glad you had a good time and safe travels home today. And yes, thank goodness for a/c in the car - not sure anyone would fancy a 4 hour journey without :D
Jan, that made me giggle, poor Grumpy
Crommers and Kaz, same weather here - that wind has a decided nippy bite to it.

Got a few things to do today; besides work that is. Really would like to get the one side of the hedge cut if I can this morning, but between my starting to type this message and now (about 40 minutes gap) it has clouded over and looks like it's going to rain - and as we all know water and electrics don't mix! :D ) . I have to pop out to the local farm supply to get some stuff for the chickens and depending on timing (and weather), I may swing by Karl and Nadine and go for a 1/2 hour walk with Nadine.

Well, better crack on with the day - have a lovely one everyone x

Scrap that

Great hilarity, me trying to get on a slightly deflated lilo, face down. I ended up falling out of it  Feel lovely and fresh now, just ready for the ironing

Morning all, very mixed weather here too, sunny, cloudy, windy, but no rain.....yet. I had hoped to walk over to the golf club with Edward, but am waiting for something coming by post, no sign of the postman yet though :? Just about to change the bed, then there is ironing to be done.

Morning all :D

It's still a bit dull and windy.

Glad you had a lovely weekend Ally.
You are having a busy morning Jan

We've had a nice lie in, only just had brekkie. No plans, I'm in the middle of a Lee Child book, will probably finish it today.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
