Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny morning, bit chilly at the moment.

Off on our jolly this morning :Hi: Braving the Algarve  I'm in desperate need of new glasses (should have gone last year, really) and Grumpy needs some for driving. The opticians here are soooo expensive, but the chains are all in the Algarve, so needs must. Will pop into C & A too :Hi:  and also Waitrose/Iceland and then Conforama for sheets and pillow cases. A proper shopping trip 8-)

Thinking of Cruiser and Mrs e, also Crommers and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing cc

Morning! :)

Ally that sounds great, have a lovely time :D xxx

Jan, have fun shopping, take care though 8-) :) xxx

Good luck back at work Gal! xxx

Hugs and vibes for those in need {{{{{{{x}}}}}}}

Ally, she was sick again last night and feels very washed out. She's taking Diarolyte but quite honestly if she doesn't improve today I think she should ring 111 to see a doctor :? :( She's staying in bed and not using the communal parts of the house, and I've used about half a can of Dettol spray, just in case it's a bug, but Mick and I feel fine :?

My excitement for the day is a walk up to Morrison's :D  Well it makes a change from Sainsbury's or the Co-op ;) D needs her goat's milk and Sainsbury's haven't had any for two weeks, the Co-op sell the wrong brand, and Morrison's always have it  I can get us some soup for lunch at the same time, and we need bananas  It's a lovely bright day here, very spring-like, if a bit breezy, so that should dry out the garden a bit, hopefully enough to get my daft plants in later this afternoon. It was 6pm last night before it got dark! :Hi:

Love to all :) xxx

Oh, we will. By law, every shop has sanitizer by the door and you must use it, going in and going out. Most shops have one door for going in and another for out. There are also walkways with arrows, and believe it or not, most people behave :D

The numbers have dropped dramatically in the last week too :D

I'm doing a few bits and bobs here at home and then packing up my laptop and heading over to Nadine's for the rest of the day - the joys of being mobile. It's nice to have a change of scenery and someone to talk to

Morning all, after a brief respite yesterday, we are back to wet dreary weather  I enjoyed my trip out yesterday, even though it was to the hospital. In the afternoon, we went for a walk with Michael and Kellie, enjoying the lovely weather. This morning, the postman delivered the rest of my M&S order, then later on a courier delivered trousers I had ordered for myself. Houseworky stuff today, clean the bathrooms, make soup, and I also need to get our prescriptions from the chemist plus get some milk.

Cruiser, I’m so glad that the system appears to be starting to work for you, as the others have said please look after yourself too because being a full time carer is extremely wearing. Thinking of the Crommers family.

Morning all, it’s just gone dull after a sunny start. It’s very breezy though.

We walked Bill first thing and then I walked down to the little Tesco just before town for some milk and bread. I ended up going into the town centre to Home Bargains too, I only went in for shampoo and conditioner and came out with my big Sainsbury’s bag full (and heavy) and the bank account £35 lighter  What with that and the 6 pint container of milk from Tesco, my arms were practically dragging on the floor by the time I’d walked the 2 miles uphill back home  I’d have got the bus a year ago but don’t fancy it yet.

Thinking of Cruiser and Mrs E x

My thoughts are with Crommers and the family too x

Hope Becky perks up soon Kaz x

Have a good day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your shopping jaunt Jan.
Kaz hope B is feeling better soon x
So pleased you're getting help now Cruiser.
Thoughts for Crommers and family.

We've had a nice lie in, would have been in bed longer but the phone woke us up. Annoying really because it was just a scam call, a very foreign sounding man wanting me to log in so he could fix my router!! No plans for today, intend to be extremely lazy.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon everybody.
Three staff came this morning and gave mrs.e a full body wash. She is now wearing pants with pads in. This means she is not wetting her knickers or the bed.
Am changing them night and morning. She is soending most of her time sleeping.
If I have staff coming in we will be charged £16.04 per hour. They want to assess our financial affairs. I strongly object to this.
Having discussed this with mrs.e we have decided to have the nursing staff come two days a week in the morning and evening. We will see how this works
as mrs.e wants me to do everything. It is hard work at times but I have now got a comode, zimmer frame.
She can still talk and tries to boss me so her mind is OK.
No washing or ironing till Thursday..

Glad you're getting some help Cruiser, that does seem a lot for some-one, but I'm out of touch.

A bit frustrating today. We both had eye tests and I've got some very nice, but expensive glasses coming :Hi: :Hi: Grumpy doesn't need any, but he has a cataract forming, hence the problems he's having. So we need to find a hospital for that. We'll go private, as the waiting list would be about two years

Most of the shops were shut and the English food shop is obviously having problems getting a lot of stuff. But we did get a load of spices and curry stuff :Hi: We also bought Grumpy a radio for his workshop, so he's happy.

I need eye drops every night too

Everywhere was very quiet and the sun is lovely and warm 8-)
