Good morning Friday.

Postby Ally » 14 May 2021, 05:30

Good morning.

Hot and sunny.

I've been for a quick run and after a coffee and shower we're off to los patios shopping mall. :cute:

Hubby wants some shorts from C&A, there's a new sports shop opened there which no doubt we'll nip into  and of course Carrefour will be the main attraction.

Usual two private classes 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for Friday beers and tapas.

Enjoy lunch with C Kaz and I hope he has a lovely birthday. xx

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny start with a few clouds around. Warming up nicely now 8-)

Happy birthday to Chris :Hi: :Hi: Have a lovely time together xx

I'm off on my jolly this morning, late start, but we'll ht quite a few shops. Still looking for a cossie, hoping to find one today.

Grumpy is doing something, I have no idea what, he won't tell me  I've left a pork pie for him, for lunch and I'll make sure his phone is on and working

Will have a beer or two on the way back and as I'm treating Jan to lunch, soup for dinner for me.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning Ally and every one else

Enjoy your shopping day and also the usual Friday beers and tapas Ally
Kaz, happy birthday to Christopher, hope you have a lovely day together x
Jan have a fab time on your jolly, don't spend too much - and good luck with the ongoing cossie hunt

Well, another dull and grey start to the day but for now no rain so I may sneak out for an hour or so and head to the allotment - the work calendars are quiet so I'm going to make the most of it. The next two weeks look rather damp and grim :( Seriously this must be the most miserable Spring we've had - yesterday I actually resorted to potting up plants in the dining room. The greenhouse is too far from the computer and phones (I leave them in the house) so usually pot up on the outside table, but it was just to cold and wet. The plants are really struggling with any form of growth so suspect that this year will not be a good harvest at all :(

Oh well, still better off than many so I'll stop grumbling :D

have a lovely day everyone xx

Good morning everybody.

Grey skies but the sun is trying to come out.
Have taken another lot of cosmetics to the salon where Audrey used to have aromatherapy. She said she and her daughter who is 23 are sorting who is having what.
The cosmetics where too good to just throw away.
Now just pottering

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all -IT’S HAIRDRESSER DAY :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: I can’t wait to get rid of five months of growth, and get my colour done, I’ll be a new woman :D It’s a nice day, sun and cloud and not cold. Edward has headed off to play golf. Last night I had a bit of reaction to the second jab, felt fluish, very tired, limbs were heavy. I took two paracetemol and headed to bed early and I feel fine this morning - mind you I would have crawled to the hairdresser this morning if necessary ;) Dinner from the pub next door this evening. Right, off to tidy around before I go out.

Morning all, I went to sit down at 9.40 with a coffee and my iPad before the 10-11am Tesco delivery came and I saw the van pull up outside just as I headed for the sofa

It’s dull here at the moment but dry. The delivery was much easier this morning. I had a flash of inspiration last night in Ikea and picked up some of their enormous blue bags. Tesco have stopped delivering in bags so all crates have to be emptied on the doorstep which is a pain so this morning I lined my new Ikea bags up, fully opened out, in the hall and just unpacked into them. I’ve got bags for life but I find that they don’t stay open so well when packing but the Ikea ones open out almost flat.

Next up is a walk over to the post office to pay some cash into our Barclays account. I’ll walk Bill again when I get back.

Joe’s gone to work and then he’ll pick Amanda up before they drive down to Falmouth to collect everything that she needs for the Summer from the cottage.

John’s in work and might be late home as he’s got a site visit and meeting in Leicester later in the afternoon.

Happy Birthday to Chris!

Happy haircut day Osc!

Have a good day all :D

Morning everyone :)

Thanks very much for the birthday wishes for Chris, he texted me about an hour and a half ago to say he was just setting off, so could be here any time :) Hard to believe it's exactly 43 years since I was in the West London being induced  :) We're having chicken, but not until about 2.30 as B is due home from work at 2. Mick is picking her up as she took Pepper in again, for her laser treatment. So looking forward to seeing him.

Enjoy your shopping trip Al :) xxx

Grumpy does remind me of Mick a bit, Jan  xxx

Ria, the weather is so gloomy, isn't it? :cute:  xxx

(((Cruiser))) xxx

Yayyy, Osc!! :Hi: :Hi: xxx

Morning Saundra, they say it's better to travel hopefully than to arrive :P ;) :) xxx

Jo, what a great idea! :D xxx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good afternoon everyone.
That is a nice thing to do Criuser. Saundra is right, going through stuff like that can be hard though. Look after yourself.
Happy hairdressers day Osc!
That's nice for you Kaz. :)
We have been out to pay the utility bills and get some eggs and a paper. Also some petrol - the car goes so much better when it has some!
Cloudy and overcast here but not cold.
Have a good day all.
